Is there a name for this particular style of music?
 

As I dont know the name, I need to describe it - Here goes...

Imagine like one of those 'Dance Dance Revolution' arcade games that plays older, well known tunes, but its speeded up and has a lot more beet to it? Boom Boom Boom etc that wasn't necessarily present in the original recordings?

Thats the 'style' I mean - Some kinda techno / dance / house vibe, but that specific 'japanese' slant on it... Whats the actual name of it?

I thought you were having a laugh with the 'poop' bit, but Korean Pop sounds like it could well be the direction I am looking for cause they say its 'awful' music with too much auto tune etc, which sounds about right... So thanks for the lead :thumbsup

However I'm specifically looking for the older 80s and 90s hits that have been redone in this style... So if anyone else can help... ???
