Pornhub as an alternative to Youtube?

Although I wouldn't consider my content for a particular project to be pornographic, it does occasionally involve some nudity and/or adult themes. I'm considering moving my channel to Pornhub so that I don't really have to worry about censoring my content. Does anyone know if Pornhub would welcome content like this? And if so, does anyone know of a channel on there that does this sort of thing?

I can't provide a source for this but I know that tubes mostly don't want mainstream content on their sites due to a mismatch between the ads and the content.

Is it difficult to make a censored version of your content? Making both a mainstream and adult version seems like a good way to cover more marketshare.

No. It's not really difficult to censor it. I'm mostly interested in finding a platform where I don't have to.

My content is similar to classic Howard Stern sort of format.

I'm not sure if it would quality as an option, as 'adult themes' is fairly subjective, but maybe look into Patreon?

I know they cracked down on porn performers using it, but in their guidelines it states:

"Examples of content we view as containing mature themes:

Works depicting real people in the nude in sexual contexts
Animations or illustrations depicting nudity in sexual contexts, and animations or illustrations featuring sexual interactions
Audio content that features simulated sexual interactions

Examples of content we won’t view as mature:

Works featuring nudity that is not designed to be sexually gratifying, such as photos of sculptures or paintings
Works featuring nudity or sexual situations that are designed for educational purposes
A standup comedy set featuring profanity or “adult” language
"

I dunno where you stuff fits into that. if it's within the guidelines, you could always make a yt channel with some edited vides to gain a following, and then a Patreon (paid or free) with all the unedited versions. that way you wouldn't have to edit every single video

I'm told PornHub booted some racy non-porn content a while ago for not having proof of age, but not a factor if you collect paperwork.

May I ask what it is you are hoping to achieve?

Is it 'Brand awareness' or do you want to try and send people to your paysite?

Or alternatively, are you wanting to earn money from the views on YouTube & Pornhub?

What's the end game? What's your target? Your Goal?

Primarily brand awareness. No paysite, but an attached Patreon. My main goal is to be able to freely post content without worrying about if it might violate the rules. My content for this project isn't necessarily pornographic, but it does involve nudity and adult themes.

They'll still demand IDs and consent forms.
And if any of your content has fetish-like themes (like fake fights with fake blood and fake knockouts), it may not pass their compliance rules.

Sorry. Yeah, I don't really get it - I get the content - Funny clips and fooling about with girls who strip off, a bit of humour etc... I get that part... It's just the rest of it that I can't understand...

I can see you have the BoneTicklers.com URL, so I follow it & it takes me to twitter, to find just 4 posts and zero mention of patreon or YouTube - Along with some text telling me to lookout for all new content in January 2024 - But its March 2024 already...

When I manually locate your YouTube channel, (It isn't the first choice in search for bone ticklers) I see zero videos, not enough subscribers to get monetized, zero links to a pateron, & like on Twitter, some text telling me to lookout for all new content in January 2024...

There is also an insta link on youtube (but not on twitter) that again takes me to an empty page with 3 followers...

So to summarize, we have 3 of the biggest platforms, all empty of any content, all promising new content over a month ago, and zero links to patreon... Plus they don't even all interconnect with each other...

So, as I said at the start - I really don't get it? Is this a business where you intend to make money, or just a bit of fun for you, where you pay out of your own pocket for the fun of making the vids & interacting with the models?

Not trying to sound like an asshole (really) & if it IS just a 'Fun Project' to you, well that's fair enough... But I can't see how you expect to make any money, assuming of course that is the overall intent? I know you said 'Brand Awareness' but awareness of what? Everywhere I go, has zero content?

pornhub should be perfect for any forum, sadly, there´s no short code to show vids on here or other forums :2 cents:

but yes, it should be an alternative, especially here in the porn business :thumbsup

pornmasta 03-04-2024 01:15 PM

Probably less ads than Youtube

Thanks for the response. It's actually for a different project I'm working on. The BoneTicklers sites are all on the back burner at the moment. This isn't for a "just for fun" project and I plan to monetize it, but not in the traditional ways.

My main thing is I want to be able to post uncensored content without all of the restrictions most of the social media platforms impose. The main question I was hoping to get an answer on is would pornhub be a good alternative for a project that has nudity and adult themes, but isn't necessarily pornographic.

Gotcha :thumbsup

Well the only place you can post whatever the hell you want, with ZERO restrictions is your own server. But if you are looking to leverage the already present traffic of a platform such as YT or PH etc, then you have to work within the restrictions of the channel...

'Too Rude' for YT can be 'Not Rude Enough' for PH... It's a balancing act - I don't really think there is a 'best' option...

paVlo 03-05-2024 03:37 AM

but its 2 different things , how is can be alternative ... hmmm
