payment provider suggestion

hey guys,

the following payment provider has been recommended to me as a good option for a smart online adult payment solution: myuser.com

but there are some points on the site for example like phrases in the t&c which look suspicious. does anyone have some kind of experience with this provider?

are there any payment providers who offer KPIs like this provider?

Never heard of them.

never heard of them either

from their T&C page:

Quote:

In no event shall Myuser LLC or its suppliers be liable for any consequential loss suffered or incurred by you or any third party arising from the use or inability to use this website or the materials on this website, even if Myuser LLC or an authorized representative has been notified, orally or in writing, of the possibility of such damage.
so basically a recipe for stealing if shit goes south for them. do a Bronski Beat and run away, you need either your own merchant account or a reputable, established third party provider like CCBill, Epoch or Verotel

is this for an adult-oriented project and you want your own MID?

if so, check out OrbitalPay, Payze and MobiusPay

all established, highly rated, quality providers/gateways

also heard good things about segpay but don't have any first hand experience with them

no ref links and in no particular order. wish ya good luck

thanks for your feedback really appreciate it! furthermore, other passages in t&c like "All funds will be kept in MyUser or its banking partners. Those funds don't belong to you until MyUser or any of its banking partners pays those amounts to your bank account and your bank account receives them" sounds very suspicious. but I want to find something positive on this website.

yes, it's an adult project the problem is providers like ccbill / epoch ask for high fees, that is why I am looking for a project with low fees and fast setup/registration for merchants. because we are in a hurry :)

thanks

most welcome, and again, wish ya the best of luck

this is the issue though, if you're gonna be in adult you have to play by the rules of processing in adult, at least if you want to accept credit cards

thanks to a long history of card banging/shady Xsales and dudes not wanting to explain a line item on their credit card bill you have to pay the 'high risk' fees for Visa/Mastercard. plus a higher percentage fee, but you can get down to 3ish% with a good track record and record of sales on your own MID. with your own MID just starting out, expect to pay 4ish%

MIDs are way cheaper but take a lot longer to set up
Third parties like CCBill/Epoch/etc set you up faster, but take a much larger cut

companies that are willing to process adult at non adult rates are the ultimate red flag. they're lying to you and being underhanded in their dealings with their bank(s). the institutions that will eventually cut a company off, and their contract absolves them of any responsibility to you. foresee the issues down the road here

you're building a biz. take a breath and cross all your T's. I know you want this all done yesterday but recognize that won't be the case. there's paperwork and bank accounts and procedures and site vetting, the whole ball of fun

taking that time to align yourself with an established, quality adult processing provider will prevent a host of eventual headaches

now choose something safe that works for you and go make some money =)

If you are worried about fees before you have even launched, you're going to lose.

Launch with a big established adult processor like ccbill, epoch, or segpay first, and once you are doing $10k+ per month look into reducing your fees.

Too many broke people worried about a non existant fee on non existant revenue.

what I wanted to say is, for me, there is no reason to join a processor that asks for 14% and is going down to 10% max fees (based on the revenue) + holdback clause when I can join a processor that offers me ~3.5% on cc without holdback. well yes, I have to wait a little bit longer until we are approved but that's ok.

thanks for your feedback guys.
