I decided to break down and eat an unhealthy burger today with my better half and we look over and here is some hot woman sitting a table breastfeeding her baby while chatting with her friends.

I told my wife I wish I had the camera... Note to self....always bring along a camera ;)

never said it wasn't, just asked if it's appropriate for a stranger to be taking pics of someone breast-feeding their child.

that's certainly a question, but it really has no bearing on whether or not it's appropriate for a stranger to take snaps of a woman breast-feeding her child.

i put the question to myself this way, if my child needed feeding and the situation was such that it required mom to feed at mcdonalds, and it's perfectly legal to do so, would i have a problem if i saw some stranger taking pics of it from across the room?

I look at it this way; if you have no problem whipping your tit out in public, then you should have no problem with a stranger taking a shot of you. It may not be right and in this day and age, I am sure she was aware of people starring at her and the chance of having a picture taken.

On another note, if my wife was breastfeeding and it bothered me that much, my wife would not be breast feeding in a public restaurant and if it was that necessary, she could find another spot to do it, instead of in front everyone in the establishment....:2 cents:

Actually, we saw several women giving her the look...like they disapproved in some way. I think it was out of line to do this in front of others that had there kids along for a quick lunch, but that is just me. I could really care less if she was beast feeding, but there is a place and time for everything and this didn't seem to be one of those places.

look, here's the thing though. my experience: being diabetic, i have to shoot insulin. when i 1st started, i'd go off to the bathroom to fire it up, but then realized public bathrooms are not at all sanitary for doing injections, so i now just shoot it at the table.

guess what, i've had people give me those sorts of looks for taking my insulin at the table.

people disapprove of things for no reason, without thinking about them.

The baby eats when the baby wants to eat. That's all there is to it.

Breastfeeding in public is quite common and most certainly an excepted practice. Being a creepy scumbag and wanting to take photos of someone doing so in public, isn't. Just a thought.

I would agree with you, all people have certain things which they have feelings about. This was out of place and I am sure she has a nice ride with ac to sit in to breast feed.

I wouldn't expect her to go into the filthy bathroom, her car is a better place or she could have possibly covered the child up with a small blanket instead of showing the entire restaurant...if ya know what I mean.
