For some odd reason, I'm more interested in work than women at this stage of my life. Therefore, I'm about as single as they come at the moment.

I laugh everytime I go to someone's wedding and watch them say I Do etc. and then the til death do us part, yeh right. Its a dumb ass ritual that doesn't work in todays world. Yeh, I know, boo hoo, for some it does, but not many, and every friend I have that's married is miserable as hell.

Whenever I get really drunk I will let it slip out that I work with some adult sites. LOL! But whenever I tell people that they either freak out or I become an instant superstar! They think I created the Bangbus or something!

I used to tell people what I do. Always ended up with publissity on my shit so I stoped. I werry rarly tell anyone anymore. My girlfriend and some off my friends know but that's about it. Don't want any heat on my shit. The porn laws here are from the 1930's. Media goes apeshit everytime they get their nose in someting like this, although it's perfectly legal to run adult sites that are located in the stats. :glugglug

the really weird thing is when just talking with other guys, and i let it drop what i do - half the time they've heard of one of my sites.

it still freaks me out every time that happens.

Well the misconception of people in this industry is unbelievable...

They think that we are all fat, greasy, dirty, child molesting, women degrading, pornographers.

They think they know us and just assume that we are all like that. That would be like me saying all the cops out there beat up innocent people, take bribes and steal drugs. It's absolutely nuts!

Oh well, I just had to get that out of my system....

Yup, couldn't agree more. We have a shared receptionist between the companies in my office. She refuses to work for me. Well, sad to say she is no longer employed here. Not like I'm in the porn, hell I don't even do the porn, i just do search engine traffic.

You should try it dude, I met my last girlfriend through blinddate.com and we dated for over a year. She contacted me... Unfortunately our relationship ended on a bad note but I don't hold that against the service. It was great!

When people ask me what I do, I tell them that I work as a freelance consultant that does custom relational database programming.

FYI: I have no idea what relational database programming is, but I know that it sounds boring as hell and nobody will continue to ask me questions after hearing that. The only problem I had was one time I met someone who was a database programmer and he almost figured out that I have no idea what I'm talking about, but I dodged that problem by changing the subject.

This strategy has worked for years. Although it's getting hard to conceal the fact that I make a shit load of money for my age.

Nobody needs to know what I do besides me.

whether the reaction is good or bad, they don't look at you the same way when they find out you're involved in the porn industry, especially if you're really making bank. All the guys have this chick that wants to do porn and they want to bring her to me to make them rich (both of them) and the chicks either start getting all slutty or stand-offish

I usually just don't let it out until it's necessary...
