On CNN and now MSNBC. They reported that time remaining to vote is over. One person was left to cast and that the vote is 226 to 207 with the bill not passing.

Its trouble for all, not just them and not just the US. Our economy is global and if the US fails most will follow very quickly,

John McCain is a Senator... they don't vote until Wed. and the vote probably won't happen.

My count is 94 nay for dems and 66 yea from repubs. That means that the dems are the ones that made the bill fail to me. Why couldn't the dems get on board with each other over it? They only needed a handful of votes.

If they had put something in that bill to help the poor slobs facing foreclosure, I'd then think it was a bad thing that it didn't pass.

But, they didn't :disgust

There's something not quite right about throwing regular people out onto the street while at the same time bailing out all the fat cats.
