Go new or a year or two older? Anybody on here own any of these cars?

Thanks, Mitch

good thing you live in the US - over here you would be stoned by your clients if you asked them what 200K car you should buy ;)

Brandon99 08-21-2008 02:57 PM

Here's my vote! :thumbsup

I really love the look of the DB9. I just wish it had back seats big enough to hold someone over 5 years old. Any other car you recommend?

Many of my clients drive similar cars... I have to treat myself once in awhile.

sure, for me its perfectly fine - but my tax accountant was hiding his Porsche from his clients for nearly a year. it's good that it isn't that way everywhere ;)

About 20 of these: 1 for you and 19 for your clients.

Db9 is a great car. I have had the chance to drive it, and it's amazing.

Fresh 08-21-2008 03:43 PM

Save your money so if the bottom falls out so your family can eat. Some of the richest men in the world drive old cars not worth much.

I got to tell you I worked for rolls royce. A beautiful car but not the most reliable, getting parts can be a nightmare. Also plan on getting fucked very hard on service costs. I worked for them in the 90's a major service was 5 grand.

Go for it Mitch, you cant take it with you:thumbsup Love the DB9 but I guess you would find the Bentley more comfortable, You can probably find one that's a year old or a demo, where the bite's been taken out of the price:winkwink:

MJ_AVN 08-21-2008 08:43 PM

Mitch, cmon dude, if you're not driving an '89 Firebird with the t-tops off and some Warrant blasting on the stereo you ain't got nothing!

Wait, I take that back - an 83 Firebird, with some Motley Crue blasting on the stereo

Thurbs 08-21-2008 08:49 PM

db9 is the better choice i'd say .. but id say ud be more pimpin in the classic db6 ;)

Semi-Retired-Dave 08-21-2008 09:53 PM

DB9 is a great ride and when the top is down, its got great lines.
One of the best cars I have ever owned and actually shows some class because you don't see that many on the road.

fuzebox 08-21-2008 09:57 PM

The Bentley is such a poser car, the Aston Martin is 10x the machine. Why the DB9 though? The flagships are the DB12 and DBS :)

I'd say Mitch has been pretty conservative compared to his competitors who have magazine spreads devoted to their private jets and Bentley fleets... :winkwink:

Adam_M 08-21-2008 10:02 PM

If you do go for an Aston Martin I would shoot for the Vantage.

I live decently but certainly do not overdo it for most things.
