Do you eat breakfast?
Simple Thread... been starting to eat breakfast as of lately but never use to, i've been seeing some great energy levels and a kick in metabolism ;) , and what's funny is I'm even more hungrier when it comes to lunch time.
Todays Breakfast: Apple/Cinnamon Oatmeal, 2 eggs half cup of eggwhites, Hot Green Tea, Full cup of water |
No I generally feel like death when I wake up.
But everyone tells me you are supposed to eat within 1 hour of waking up for your metabolism and energy levels.. |
I try to do it daily but sometimes I just wake up too late. :/
no but I wish I would have today. Im starving....
I always eat breakfast within 30 - 45 minutes after waking up. I would feel like crap if I didn't eat.
I can't eat solids first thing in the morning. So I drink a whey shake.
I agree I felt like shit if I do not at least eat a bagel or something about 30 minutes after waking...
Today I had: 1 Hard boiled egg, 1/2 grape fruit, 1/2 apple, 2 tbs yogurt mixed with 1 tbs cottage cheese, rasins, granola and almonds
Sounds weird, but is healthy and tasty |
Yes...everyday! It is definitely true that eating breakfast, especially around the same time everyday does get your metabolism going!! Which of course in turn helps to burn fat. Oh yeah...also only if it's healthy and nutritional, not Mcdonald's etc....:thumbsup
Im hooked on steelcut oatmeal. Eat it every day for breakfast.
I use to don't eat anything at morning.... if I eat, I get sick..... I don't know why!!
Yes, I have coffee and at least a peice of toast, or eggs before I hit the gym in the morning.

I always eat breakfast. The past month its been Cheerios with fresh rasberries from the backyard. Before that it was fresh strawberries, mmmm.
no, never :)
just tons of coffee |
coffee and a bread is enough for me.
no breakfast for me skip straight to lunch :)
I usually have some juice or yogurt, but that's pretty much it.
I voted "Sometimes" on the poll. |
Everyday, nothing that takes too long, just some cereal or an english muffin or two. Someytimes eggs & toast on the weekends, and occasionally some croissants.
I don't function very well without breakfast. Sometimes I can just grab a cereal bar and go run errands without sitting down to a meal, but I don't like to do it.
I don't eat "breakfast food," but I definitely eat what'd you'd consider breakfast, I guess. I wake up and shovel food in my face, but it's usually a sandwich or salad or something. Breakfast foods suck and don't do anything for me.

I eat breakfast every morning. Oatmeal and OJ and hot tea.
Always. Usually some mix of whole grain cereals in milk, and some fresh juice.
Keeps the train running on time. |
I just have some fruit
I have a nice cup of Cafe con Leche.
Does coffee and cigarettes count?

I do, usually around 9:30 after I've been up for 2-3 hours
nope, i work out every morning (7x a week) for about 20-30 mins in our home gym
then i make a protein shake instead of breakfast |
I eat first thing every morning when I wake up. Usually have some chicken or tuna for protein, a slice or toast or cereal for healthy carbs in the form of grains and a banana or orange for the vitamins and minerals washed down with some cold and then hot tea.
when i was a breakfast cook, i did, but now i don't wake up until 11 or noon

Cereal and Coffee!
But I love breakfast food - I would eat IHOP and Bob Evans constantly. Bruce has to keep me under control! lol |
I workout first (drinking quite a bit of water) and then have a 2-eggwhite/english muffin /slice of ham/slice of chees sandwich and it is just so fucking good.
It is definitely true that it kicks your metabolism in gear. I'm a little worried about cholesterol - eating eggs every day, but so far my tests look good. |
never.. I usually have what I call a break-lunch-tea (3 meals in one) at 4 Pm )
