heres the story emailed to me from someone who directly involved with it-

so i had a few missed calls from a buddy of mine this week, who also used to be my roommate, who also used to be a ggw cameraman. i figured something's up, so i called him back today, and this is what he said...

well, he started by saying, "hey, remember ashley, from panama city?"

i did remember her, so i'll catch you guys up.

flash back 5 years, almost to the day. spring break 2003, we lived at the ggw beach house in panama city, florida for the entire month. this was the month when all the shit went down. joe went on fox news. he talked shit to the mayor on the greta show. they followed us and harrassed us. we all went to jail.

but somewhere in between, we had the bus in pcb, but everyone agreed it was drawing too much attention, and we weren't really using it, so we sent it off to tour the state with a couple camera guys, call them adam and derek. a few days later, we're all out at some bar, when derek calls me from miami.

he tells me some sob story about this girl ashley, who they met on the beach, who was helping get them girls on camera, who was hot, and sweet, and had run away from home, had no money, no where to go, wah wah blah blah wah. anyhow, there was a lot of commotion, he kept going on about her, to the point where i was like, where is the chase, and how do i cut to it?

so he wanted permission from me to throw her on the bus, bring her to the beach house, and let her stay with us and help out. i said i didn't care, that it was fine, as long as she didn't expect money. the beach house was catered and there was plenty of room for her to stay, so what did i care.

couple days later, they arrive in panama, and off the bus comes this hot brunette chick. ashley. she thanks me. whatever, i wasn't paying attention. joe had just come back in town and my priorities were elsewhere.

and then the other shoe dropped. she was 17. now derek and adam claim they told me she was 17, but i don't remember that. it could've happened. when they called, it was loud and who the fuck knows what condition i was in. she was almost 18, they said. as if that makes a shit.

so fuck it. she stayed at the house for a few days. she helped out. she wasn't on camera, so we weren't breaking any laws.

on let's call it day four, joe was doing some photo shoot with a magazine, and he wanted two chicks in the hot tub with him, and he grabbed her as one. they hadn't really met, because we purposely had kept them away from each other. as they're getting ready, joe is practically getting her naked, which she is cool with, until someone tells him she's 17.

he freaked. he yelled at us, kicked her out, yelled at everyone else, etc. we claimed we had no idea and that story actually worked pretty well. no real reason to card people we weren't filming.

so she leaves, crying. one of the other guys catches up to her, gets her on a bus back to wherever the fuck city, usa.

i haven't really thought about her since. til today.

because through my conversation with derek, he explained that he had recently visited ashley's myspace page. she's no longer 17, almost 18. she's 22, almost 23. her name is still ashley. ashley dupree.

and now, as they say, you know the rest of the story.
