I'm watching the madness in Kenya right now. Then there is the countless other shit going on there like in Darfar and other shit holes.

Why is it when given a chance, Africans turn to severe violence?

In Kenya, it started off as political problems, now they are killing over tribal background. Again. Just like they did back in Sierra Leone. Cutting off arms and hacking other Africans up with machetes. Jesus.

There is a lot of truth in this. Until the 17th century Africa (except Noth Africa) wasn't penetrated by outsiders. From then on to as late as the 20th century, most were under colonial rule. So we're basically looking at countries that are far behind technologically and culturally.

I lived 10 years in Africa till the end of 2006, and I pretty much follow what's happening around the World, also there's no place called Darfar as far as I know, try using Google next time before hitting the board
