TEN of my neighbors have complained...

...about me parking my pink RV too long in the condo parking lot.

WTF?!

THAT is what you choose to spend your energy on? Complaining to the property manager about the HugMobile!? *sigh*

I love it Hal...that's awesome. If I was your neighbor, I'd just come over and introduce myself so I could be sure to roll in it.

People don't have enough real problems and too much time when they bitch about shit like this.

Make a GIANT Pink tarp with that furry material, just to be a smart ass.

WiredGuy 07-18-2007 05:32 PM

10 complaints arose? Wow, thats alot. That sounds more like one person went door to door to collect complaints, I can't believe 10 people voluntarily submitted complaints from that.

People really need to get a fucking clue, if I had enough time on my hands to complain about a sexy ass ride like that I would use it for something useful.

Brother Bilo 07-18-2007 05:34 PM

What's to complain about? Who cares if they don't like it, it's not like it's bring property values or anything.

xNetworx 07-18-2007 05:37 PM

Might want to move it before some asshole vandalizes it. Just a suggestion. These people sound like dicks.

Casa Nova 07-18-2007 05:37 PM

What morons.. I think they all need a hug.

Smurfette 07-18-2007 05:45 PM

Some people have nothing better to do with their time then sit around complaining about other people. I don't get it! Seems like they hate seeing other people happy or having fun cause they are lousy

Ayla_SquareTurtle 07-18-2007 05:47 PM

You should put a sign on it that says "If you are so bored with your life that you have time to complain about my RV, come knock on my door and I'll give you a hug":winkwink:

tony286 07-18-2007 05:47 PM

I live in a condo, they have rules that have to be respected.

Well, I actually made printouts and gave a presentation to the homeowners association (and got their enthusastic blessings). I gave them each my phone number and posted my number (with a note) in the window.

So the fact that they complained to the prop manager rather than TALK to their neighbor is seriously chicken shit. IMHO.

crockett 07-18-2007 05:55 PM

lol man that's what you get when you live in a condo. The people have nothing better to do than bitch about everything.

You should feel lucky, they haven't complained about your hair.

Actually he passed in April. But it was a beautiful passing.

Yahoo did an amazing tribute to him:

baddog 07-18-2007 06:13 PM

Are there other RV's there? If not, maybe they have a point. If there are others, then they can go fuck themselves.

Sly 07-18-2007 06:14 PM

Really this isn't just a condo thing. Its a people with no tolerance thing, lol. I live in a pretty quiet neighborhood, very family oriented. I have a somewhat loud party go after 12 and the neighbors stop by to complain.

Shut your damn windows!

This is why living in the country on your own land can be so great. :-)

GTS Mark 07-18-2007 06:16 PM

I have an idiot that parks his new RV across the street on his lawn. The RV is $100k+ but I think it makes our neighbourhood look ghetto. The neighbourhood I live in (I like to think) is one of the nicer and more prestigious in our area.

Don't get me wrong Hal, if it was a well oiled pink machine like yours I would'nt complain. LOL! ;)

Complaining about the hugmobile is just unamerican

Hal I think you're great blah blah blah

But if you had that thing taking up that much room next to a spot i'm paying to park in then i'd be setting it on fire and rolling it down the street.

If you want a gigantic outrageous car then why not find somewhere to park it where it doesn't encroach on anyone elses space?

If people approached you, then what would you have done?

~Ray 07-18-2007 06:34 PM

how many air fresheners did it take to get the 1970's smell out of that beast?

:)

BlackCrayon 07-18-2007 06:36 PM

Doesn't surprise me, from the pics you've posted of the amazing view you have i'd say you have some rich snobby neighbors.

Furious_Male 07-18-2007 06:39 PM

Complain? Whats wrong with them. I would ask you to borrow it to go tail gating at a football game. :)

Well, that is the overflow/guest parking area.
And I am allowed to park there for 72 hours at a time. The Board said it was no big deal as long as I wasn't just using the extra parking to store it (i'm not.)

So basically, as long as I move it every 3 days, I'm within the rules. (Which I have been doing.) I just need to change the physical parking space so that my neighbors can SEE that it is being moved.

LOL. 4 and counting. :)

FakeNick 07-18-2007 06:51 PM

find out who complained then buy 10 cans of pink house paint and throw them at the homes of the people who complained that will teach the fuckers

OzMan 07-18-2007 06:58 PM

Looks like you were within a single parking bay and it's only a couple feet longer than most SUVs so I think it's an anti-pink thing from the hugless majority :Oh crap

You don't have cousin Eddie living in it do ya as he might have been spotted emptying the shitter on the flowerbeds? :1orglaugh

teg0 07-18-2007 07:30 PM

Sounds like the are in desperate need of a real problem to complain about.

Halcyon 07-18-2007 07:39 PM

Truthfully, I think they have a right to complain. I'm just annoyed they did so as a "complaint" when I made such efforts to invite neighborly interaction.

Ahh ok, didn't realise it was the guest parking. How big is the guest parking lot? Sounds to me that they're complaining about a big pink van rather than you taking up parking spots.

Might be worth looking for a place to park it whilst you're not using it?

Or just park it backwards, then park it normal the next time, and so on...
