Thanks. It's the same type of car driven in the open scene of HBO's entourage. I like this one better though.

ADL Josh 05-03-2007 01:50 PM

I have 3 Studebakers total

the 55 a 57 Studebaker Golden hawk, and a 61 Studebaker GT. My dad at last count has another 10 including 3 Avantis, and a 56 Golden Hawk that won 3 best of shows at the national Studebaker annual meet.

OMG, we rented a Skoda in Ireland last week - I swear that thing got 100 MPG! :) I had never heard of one before and now twice in a week. Weird.

Rick, the truck is gone to the trash dump after my brother drove it for 2 years after I sold it to him for $1 (it was going to cost more than it was possibly worth to insure with a 16 year old male driver on the policy). Ditto the 2000 Ranger - totalled in a year. I don't buy Rangers any more.

I went to HS with a girl whose mother had one of those Continentals with the suicide doors. You would have loved to have seen the 7 cheerleaders squeezed in there when we went to cheerleading camp. :thumbsup They are awesome cars!!

Let me put it this way. It wasn't really that much more than a new top of the line Range Rover or Jaguar. But this won't depreciate at 20,000 a year like those do.

That car is sweet too but I wanted a convertible.

OMG, my Dad had a 77 - I put a fully inflated 6 man raft IN THE CAR and moved an entire dorm room in it. That thing ROCKED. I think IrishPimp has one now.

Before then he had a 72 bullet back Riviera. I hardly ever see them around, but i loved that car.

Of course, this was all in the days before they were "classic". I'm old :helpme Wish he'd kept them - like Rick said, buying one of them now is an investment.

There's an adult biz owner who deals in Mopar classics on the side - not sure if they want the details mentioned or not so I'll keep quiet - but they have QUITE a collection.

ya convert is nice. Yours will prolly hold its value alot more too. That one looks cool now but who knows in 5 years. Yours is classic style

Did they do anything to the motor to beef it up?

Here`s my Cadillac it`s a 1972 Coupe de Ville and it`s got the big 454 block in it.

Still need a lot of TLC but once it`s done it should look pretty slick. Plan is to shave the door handles, have it entirely mat or suede black no more chrome.

We can put golf clubs + a few bodies in that trunk ;-)

That's a pretty exciting car. Not really a classic but a nice piece of steel, none-the-less.

Juicy George 05-03-2007 05:20 PM

Not so classic, but nice and clean and 'modernized'...
This is my 84' Toyota Supra MachII. It's still immaculate in and out, resprayed in factory red, but best of all it has a new model twin turbo supra engine in it! ;) Currently off the road getting it's 3rd engine in 2 months...
