    Bringing personal crap to a board Whee!!! abortion




    I have a feeling I may regret this but seriously I need serious opinions.

    The Issue is my fiance left me pregnant and I have a child (who is special needs). I am (or had) an abortion because the child i have now needs my attention to the utmost and raising another i honestly dont think i can handle, and i disagree with bringing another child in this world just to have them go through a possible horrible parent that can not give him/her the attention he/she deserves and just have them be another state child added on to what the state (and practically all over the US has) no way would i want to put a kid through that. sooo without rambling on too much...

    the blog o' drama is posted here which has details of an abortion that became a non-private thing to the whole fucking town because of the dim-wit sperm donor that found out. I am getting calls from redneck assholes and the whole nine yards (yay for living in the bible belt)

                                                                                      1. Will the baby have both parents avaible ?
                                                                                      2. Will I have the economy and time to be the mother that this child needs?
                                                                                      3. Can I offer everything this child needs?

                                                                                      I dont know how life is where you live, but where I live, no one wants to touch a singlemonther with kids. Who would? Are you willing to give up your little time that you have for yourself for this kid?

                                                                                      Women always thinks that when they are pregnant from day 1, there is a child in their stomach. I dont know how many weeks you have been pregnant, but if its the first month or a little after that, like 6 weeks. Then do make a abortion. You dont have a child in your stomach by definition, yet.

                                                                                          If you are healthy and not using drugs, you could go for a private adoption with a nice family of your choice after you personally screen them. You can have all your expenses paid and possibly have some sort of open adoption where you can keep in touch with the child as they grow up.

                                                                                          But if you want to abort, that's your right too. I agree with you on the foster system. I was one foster child out of 7 and each and every one went through hell. I seemed to be the luckiest since I was given up (more like taken away) at birth so I had only one foster home for a few months.

                                                                                          If you're going to give up your baby though, do it at birth. Don't try to be a martyr and "give it a try" especially if you already have a special needs child. You shouldn't take away from one to attempt another if you believe in your heart already that you don't think you can pull it off.

                                                                                          There is no greater act of love that you can show other than giving your baby a chance that they might never have otherwise. Don't let anyone tell you differently.

                                                                                          So what's with the dad? He was engaged to you and then left you when he found out you were pregnant? Or was he only engaged to you as a means to control you until he found something better? I'd sue his ass...

                                                                                                      would be something i am more than likely to try out of a later on desperate attempt becuase i do very much have that mommy gene implanted into me in a ridiculous way. i also know facts from so much research lately and soul searching. its so hard to explain too, i love my child and i know a new one won't have all i can give and to just give my child away once it becomes a child is devestating and all the risks that come with it! (wrong parents, or judge a child off my lifestyle so it wont be adopted, foster, etc)

There are in fact huge waiting lists for couples wanting to adopt babies. So whether the baby goes to the state or a private adoption, his or her early life of eat, poop, sleep isn't going to be affected in the short transition. Again, there are people who desperately want this baby and can provide a great, stable home.

I was never officially against abortion, especially early term abortion, until I accidentally came across some pictures of aborted fetuses. They're not pretty - even at 4 weeks the human form is very evident.
