There are some AMAZINGLY bad members areas out there...how can site owners be proud?
 

I have been doing some research the past few days and checking out members areas, and MY GOD some site owners should be ASHAMED of themselves....making people pay $30+ per month to get into a site and giving them what looks like an 8th graders threw up some pics using Front Page

hell, one site was LITERALLY just a directory listing, all the content was there, but just in directory listing format

and people wonder why retention is so low and a lot of webmasters only choose PPS

haha, ok, here is a great one....ALL content from other sponsors, the ENTIRE members area is one big upsell to other sites

Do they have to pay to get into that area?

it is a members area, of course

there is one PPS program whose members areas are nothing more than upsell mills - doubt if there is 500 dollars worth of content in any of them.

I am on like the 30th site and I have seen ONE members area that I would consider halfway decent, and even that had mysql errors everywhere

Badgirl bucks was like that.... 80 websites and the exact same content in the members area for each... Just bullshit after bullshit.

Yep, some are absolutely horrible with just a few pics and 7 year old video plugins. When I run across member's areas like that I have to believe that the only way they get a rebill is because the surfer forgets to cancel.

thats why before i promote a program they must have decent member content, so many programs have shitty members area, pay 30 dollars get in the member area and its a plugin feed..

and people have to paid for that $30? if yes, congrats on great marketing on that site! if some newbie wants get money fast w/o rebills, thats great work in my eyes! :2 cents: im telling that cause i will too try something like that in next few months lol. but not for $30, but about $10 etc ... but main will be also, image and marketing ... as a newbie im starting from zero so i cant pay $1000s for content!!

I've reviewed over 300 paysites and the vast majority are really not worth the money. I've seen websites that haven't updated in months that only have 10 videos and about 50 image galleries, but they think they can charge 30 bucks per month for the member to access this stuff.

Best sites I've been in that come to mind: Any of the Karup's websites (karups's private collection, hometown amateurs, older women). MC-Nudes. FTVGirls. BangBros network. Only Over 30.

Website owners could learn a thing or two from those member's areas. That's how you treat a customer.

I like it when programs let you have a trial of their site to see what you are promoting. It helps you to sell their sites better.

i think you are totally right, they should... or at least I usually do. there are so many surfers now that pretend to be webmasters, most are easy to spot... but a few have gottan good at it, that may be a concern as to why they do not... or that it does just really suck

jace, if you want id like you to take a look at our members areas and let me know what you think in comparison to the others you have reviewed. we put a lot of work into our members areas, id be very interested to hear how they stack up from an unbiased opinion.

just look at thebestporn.com and you will get all the facts in the members area as far as the number of videos and pictures. If the site is not listed then they are probably afraid to have it listed

shitty members areas is what keeps the stolen password sites in biz.
the surfer gets in the members area and finds out it is not worth a buck a month much less 30 or 40 a month.
got his porn for free and was saved from being ripped off.
if the member area wasn't shit maybe he just might join after all.

I just think when surfers see the inside of these bad sites why would they wan't to sign up again and why would they trust me again to recommend a good site.

Everyone should take a look at their reviews before promoting any site. They provide the most complete reviews you are going to find. Any paysite with sense will get a review and look at the feedback and work on what they see as issues.

Also, when we build UncutBucks V2 we added a thumbnail snapshot of most of the members area for affilaites to see what they are selling. Additionally, if a webmaster wants to check it out we try to hook them up with a pass to check it out.

We did what you are doing Jace and there are some well known sites that charge a little for a trial which is so limited that you really can't see anything of the girls content, and evrything else is an upsell. I can only assume this is how they offset high PPS deals. Definitely not what I want to send my traffic to!
