I wonder if he's copying an existing picture or just doing it from memory/scratch.

PHP-CODER-FOR-HIRE 03-03-2007 11:21 PM

With images like that one, I often cannot tell whether it's a digital picture that has had some filters applied to it to make it look like a drawing, or if it's a plain drawing.

Definitely an artist.

tehHinjew 03-03-2007 11:21 PM

thats nothing compared to the guy drawing cars with ms paint!
photoshop has tons of tools where as ms paint has close to none

both of those videos are amazing ... wowsers

tASSy 03-04-2007 09:57 AM

i couldn't watch the whole thing but i get the idea, that's a lot of time to copy a portait of yorke. crazy.

quantum-x 03-04-2007 10:10 AM

I'd have to say the Yorke portrait is 'better' in my mind than the MS Paint one- whilst there's no debate that they have made skills - the fact remains that an artist is an artist despite what tools he uses, but the Yorke portrait reflects a lot more 'classic' art background than the car..

psili 03-04-2007 10:21 AM

Weren't those Win XP dialog boxes?

Hummm......

Metalsound 03-04-2007 11:36 AM

cocaine007 03-04-2007 11:49 AM

this guy is good

RawAlex 03-04-2007 12:18 PM

The guy is good... but it is using a screwdriver as a hammer, as far as I am concerned. There are much better tools for that type of work.

bobby666 03-04-2007 12:43 PM

impressive artwork

pornguy 03-04-2007 12:49 PM

I'm assuming he's using a graphics tablet. Photoshop is a very accomplished painting studio. The other option would be painter, which is neat for more organic painting.

What did you have mind mind, I'm curious?

Fat Duck 03-04-2007 01:15 PM

that guy is a magician.

TGPturnkeys 03-04-2007 02:32 PM

Bama 03-04-2007 02:44 PM

I came across this guy's website and I'd have to say he's got some fabulous skills. I've never seen better and the guy that he has doing the flash ain't bad either!

madawgz 03-04-2007 02:48 PM

that guy sure is good :thumbsup

Snake Doctor 03-04-2007 02:52 PM

I would consider this more "art" skills than "photoshop" skills.

chaze 03-04-2007 02:54 PM

I think it's crazy how newer artists are using photoshop for there canvas.

I mean they spend the time to use the program rather then using real brushes.

_Rush_ 03-04-2007 03:01 PM

Wow, very impressive!

Nothing that new really.
