ok i have given this guy over 24 hours to remove my galleries. i have emailed him at least 5 times at 4 different emails. i have tried him on icq. but i have gotten no response and i am being ignored.

the only thing left to do is play dirty

this sites appear to be fairly large, so i know he probably is making an assload off the galleries he stole from me, because those particular galleries convert like a bitch. i have emailed the sponsor about this, but havent heard back as its still the weekend.

this guy has some big trades... worldsex, mark's bookmarks, teeniesxxx, etc... but as far as im concerned, anyone trading with him supports his theft of my work.

i have emailed some of his other sponsors, but they dont seem to care since the stolen galleries are not promoting their programs.

so aside from physically taking his sites down myself, which would be just as illegal as what he has done, what else can i do?

Having your work copied or stolen really sucks Dawgy, I feel ya. Unfortunately anytime this happens, the only way to get anything done is to go through the host, if that succeeds at all.

Show your proof to his host. Might help.

Might try sending him the "Fear of God" letter (Cease and desist). Also get his host involved.

its not just a layout, the guy snagged all the graphics and html, the whole thing.

um, well the fact that i CREATED the logo that he is using, gives me a clue. and the fact that the gallery is EXACTLY like mine gives me a clue. and the fact that he forgot to change one of the link codes so my code is STILL in his gallery gives me a clue.

From what I understand, everything about the template was copied. Even custom made graphics by Dawgy, and the pictures.

You don't need to "get" a copyright. The minute you create something, you hold copyright to it. Although it gets very tricky with designs because everyone uses adaptations and bits from another persons work. But if this guy essentially is "copying" the work of Dawgy, then fry him.

judging by the galleries of mine, and of others, that i have seen copied, i truly believe that this guy is copying galleries posted in the top 20 of THE HUN every day.

the galleries of mine that were copied were posted NOWHERE but the hun... and these others that are copied from other people also appeared in the top 20 of the hun.
