how often do you type a reply and then just say fuck it and move on?

fairly often - sometimes it's cuz the post is too mean or i don't think some of the mouth breathers here will get the humor, sometimes i decide that the post is lame - other times cuz i decide to hold back because i don't want to stick around all day getting involved in a pissfest.

happens sometimes when I am want to say sth "politically uncorrect" and then decide it's not worth it because it can hurt my reputation

I do that all the time, but only for 2 reasons.

Reason 1: Posting something useful.
Reason 2: Flaming someone.

I usually dont hit submit and just go back to the main forum whenever I realize my post falls into one of those two categories.

All the time... if I post the replies I typed I'd have like 70k posts by now :)
