Scanner, scanning cordless phone frequencies.

You would not believe the shit you hear.

Never speak openly over a cordless phones. These new 2ghz cordless phones broadcast for miles.

Right now am listening to a black lady cry about her friend talking shit. Kids screaming in the background. Glad to be me.

1) Meat Loaf's "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad" (I love singing along with his songs)

2) The Konnarock Critters' "O Sister!" (which is on now)

3) The Konnarock Critters' "Time Stands Still" (music that inpired the movie "O Brother, Where Art Thou?")

:thumbsup

yea its the new one...i just picked it up like 30 minutes ago...lots of good listening and typical DJ Quik guitar riffs

SetTheWorldonFire 06-13-2002 08:11 PM

Is it as good as his last one or better?

lawpal 06-13-2002 08:12 PM

PLR Radio

TDF 06-13-2002 08:14 PM

personally I like this one better than the last one...lots of great instrumentals on this one..seems like he stepped up his lyrics on this one too. He has this dope cut with 2nd 2 None and Pharoah Monche...sounds like a wild combo but Quik makes it work..

I thought the 2.4 Ghz were secure? I used to listen to the 900's all the time.

Listening in on other people's phone sex can be pretty creepy.

I am using the Pro-2067, only runs about 250 bucks. Its a trunking scanner so it can monitor all those new systems cities and departments are using.

The frequencies are easy to get. Lots of websites dedicated to it.
If it broadcasts you can pick it up. Banks, drive thru windows, cabs, hostpitals, school security, casinos you name it.

If you are talking on a cordless, someone in your area is listening.

Cordless phones broadcast at 43.7200 mhz to 46.9700 mhz and newer ones at 902.3000 mhz to 903.8700 mhz. Cell phones suck. Only get one side of conversation and most scanners sold in the usa now have those frequencies blocked out. Have to buy foreign or get a mod, which are easy to come by.

Secure in that most scanners cant scan that high. Some people can and in the future I am sure most people will be able to.

All 2.4ghz means is that you are broadcasting even further.

If you want secure, you need one that dont broadcast like a fucking radio station.

evildick 06-13-2002 08:33 PM

I bought one years ago at Radio Shack. I ended up giving it to my mother so she could keep up with all the gossip around town.

A friend bought a handheld one there not too long ago so you should still be able to find them at Rat Shack.
