Who has the best CMS?
 

Im looking for a CMS for my members areas for both VID- Pics any suggestions and comments on the major ones ..

We use it on www.relishxxx.tv and a load of other sites. The support is second to none.

I just love the flexibility and scalability of MAS. Adding new sites with own look and feel is easy with the templates. Everything can be automated so I can do other things. Just a well rounded and thought through piece of software.

Whats the prive on MAS now days?

I believe there are several options. Not sure what they are though, best to shoot them a quick e-mail.

I have written out loads of documents on how to customise MAS. They are in word format. I was thinking of posting them net week. I wrote them for my staff. Would you be interested in reading them?

Yea, I would be. I use mas quiet deeply... but... I don't have the size most MAS users have... [email protected], [email protected]... either one would work.

I will post them here next week. I dont have them with me at the moment. I am going to forward them to Garry and Oystein prior to posting them just to get their approval as it is their software.

The main on is document on how to have the tour update, free content update, free hosted galleries and members area update all in one go. It is pretty simle but it works. I also worked out how to create a pretty good upsell system so that someone can see 10% of the site for say $4.95 and then upgrade their membership to a full price of $29.95 and see the whole site.

i have been working with MAS since it first launched and fucking love it!

If there is one thing I love about Mansion is the customer support. I wanted to check out Carma by the guys that made NATS to see how it compared.

I emailed them 5 times and the sale guys never got back to me. All I wanted was a demo. Sales usually get back straight away. With Mansion tech support is usually, at worse, 30 minutes.

If Mansion ever want a thumbs up from me they have it. They are the best company in adult for customer support. I was working with Ross today and he is a fucking god.

Ok I would even be up for a bet. Any adult company against mansion. I bet mansion will reply to the support ticket before anyone else.

Hey, I had a similar experience back when I was looking for a CMS.

I was looking for the same thing.. what did you come up with?

OK the docs will be up by the weekend. I want the guys at Mansion to read through them and I am just checking them for any errors I may have made. I wrote them for my staff and my staff seemed to have learnt how to do them very fast due to the docs.

I love being involved with Mansion. This is great software and if we can all help each other out the better for us.

When I first got MAS I found it a bit of a bitch thenit finally clicked on how to use it. Now I cant live without it.

I will give you as much help as you want.

Rick, there is one thing I will guarantee you with Mansion their support is better than anyone elses. The great thing is that the customers talk with each other and help each other out as well as the support from Mansion.

Any answer from support is better than what I've gotten from most other CMS companies.. Through the years I've run through almost all of them, but none of them did exactly what I wanted, and thus far, other than the steep learning curve I'm hitting, it looks like this one is going to replace every other CMS we use.

It'll actually be kind of nice to only have to remember how to do stuff on one CMS, rather than trying to remember "do I hit THIS button, or THAT button to delete the cache" :1orglaugh

I am pretty sure I can help you out setting up MAS how you want it.

The main thing you have to remember with MAS is not to get confused with the tags for the gallery templates and the main members template. This was my main problem first of all. Also remember to structure your sites before you start them so that you know where everything is going to go.

I will help you as much as I can. I love learning and think that I have part of my mum in me who was a teacher!
