new piercing
 

Ok, so not so much of a piercing, but more along the lines of body mod. I was in Columbus this past weekend helping out with a tattoo festival with my piercing friend. Late sunday night we went down to the shop and did this to my forearm:

I can only hope it doesn't.. I try to take really good care of my piercings. so far no signs of migration or rejection.. :thumbsup

i thought that might be harmful. is there any major vains you could hit?

Well, it's still early for migration or rejection. But if your other piercings have fared well, this one should be fine as well.

Piercing is almost a science. And it's never done where it could pierce a major vein. There are no major veins in the top of your arm.

there were actually two veins that we had to stop and "jump" over. had to go shallower in the skin, ended up with two bruises at those points. luckily it's bruises from the smaller veins and not one of the big ones. hehe

I don't get it -- why?? I suppose it might tickle more when anal fisting.. but otherwise, i have no clue.

Had that happen with my old eyebrow piercing :Oh crap

less movement higher up, less chance of irritation and rejection..

I don't plan on getting in a fight anytime soon... but if I do I'll get em with my left hook..

Is it your first piercing?

I don't really feel purposeful pain the same way, so for me it wasn't painful in the same sense that an accidental paper cut would be or something.

I've had both my ears dermal punched around 2-4g, and then stretched to 7/16" and a coupld other various body piercings, so this was not a first one, and would not recommend it as a first piercing for anyone.

The line faded after a few days and now the bruising it just about gone.

I just don't get this one.
