i'm married one year now
 

it was my 1 year wedding anniversary yesterday. i'm now married longer than half the people i know:1orglaugh

and as for all the "wisdom" people tried to give me about how bad the first year was gonna be, all i have to say is you were totally wrong.

it's a bit about the kids yes...

kids mean you gotta spend much more time together...
and if you do not have kids you can spend some time in the day alone...

distance is the best for every relationship.

and if you notice you are not made for the other one after 5 years you have no problem to split up because of the kids..
better checkout the person you live with pretty good

LOL@ no kids...my wife and i arent in a rush either but if possible we're gonna wait until our third year or so...because we know we're gonna lose all our free time when the little fuckers come:winkwink:

Everything about marriage depends on two things... Communication and trust.. If you have a good line of communication, it builds trust, and with those two things firmly in place, any marriage, new or 20+ years can be amazing. My hubby and I have been together many years now, and some people are suprised when we tell them how long we have been together because they say we still have that "newlywed" feeling about us. Keeping that feeling is a challenge, but if you have chosen the right lifemate, no amount of years is going to change it :)
