It is one of the great endings to a movie that I have ever seen.

Birds of Prey (1973) had a pretty cool ending too. I have my doubts any of you have seen it as I believe it was a "made for TV" movie. Wednesday Night at the Movies or something like that.

The "birds of prey" were two helicopters. I am not going to say the ending in case someone goes to get the DVD, but it sure blew me away enough that I remember it 30 years after the last time I saw it.

Dead Zone (an oldie) - Christopher Walken is fatally wounded after his botched assassination attempt - but has one last final 'vision' of Martin Sheen committing suicide and thus preventing Sheen's destiny of becoming President and starting a nuclear war.

Long good friday..

Invasion Of The Body Snatchers (Donald Sutherland version)
..where he points and screams in the last sec of the movie, that's a classic among the best :thumbsup

Shawshank Redemption was a great movie, but what so special about the ending?

No one mentioned Caddyshack? Considering the last line of the movie is Rodney Dangerfield shouting to the entire cast "Hey everybody! We're all gonna get laid!"

The credits for Ferris Bueller's Day Off where Ed Rooney gets on the bus is a classic. Oh Yeahhhh

The Usual Suspects is one of my favorite movies and that ending is great. Rounders is another good one, of course I'm a poker freak so I'm probably somewhat biased.

Seven was fucking insane I agree. I would give the greatest movie endings to Braveheart, Shawshank Redemption, and American History X.

Its all about a non sexual love between 2 men, thats whats so great about Shawshank
