Unbearably itchy nipples!

OMG, I can't fucking stand it! I feel like taking a rake to my tits they are so itchy. But, you know, nipple skin is pretty delicate, so I'm reduced to rubbing them furiously trying to ease the itch, which just makes me look like some perverted nympho freak.:Oh crap

CCdoug 05-05-2006 07:04 AM

Me thinks you need to see a doctor, wo-man!

headless ghost 05-05-2006 07:04 AM

sickkittens 05-05-2006 07:04 AM

Try to rub some ice in it. It's normal to have an itchy nipples but not that long.

chase 05-05-2006 07:07 AM

LOL, indeed, he is a she! *wink*

My brother has excema pretty bad, so I'm worried I'm developing a mild case. :( What a shitty place to get it, too. But not too uncommon from what I've researched.

faxxaff 05-05-2006 07:46 AM

sounds like a frikkin' allergy. Take some beta methasone

E$_manager 05-05-2006 08:14 AM

what is beta methasone - antiallergy?

faxxaff 05-05-2006 08:18 AM

it's a cream that contains cortisone for itching relief .... don't take it over a long peroid of time .... just a few days ....

The Duck 05-05-2006 08:19 AM

have someone suck on them or slice them off with a sharp knife

JD 05-05-2006 08:19 AM

sounds like eczema

E$_manager 05-05-2006 09:16 AM

Doctor is still needed. Could it be some venerologic desease.
Sorry if that is do.

RogerV4 05-05-2006 09:17 AM

dave_w 05-05-2006 09:28 AM

My name is Dr. Dave, I am much more qualified than any of these other doctors here on GFY; After taking much time to carefully examine your symptoms, I have come to the conclusion that you have cancer...you have 1 week to live. Sorry for the bad news.

E$_manager 05-05-2006 09:33 AM

water and soap

B O B 05-05-2006 09:33 AM

go surfing without a vest on...pretty soon that surf wax will have your nipples either scraped completely off, or so chafed you wont think about the itching...

Manowar 05-05-2006 09:40 AM

cheese grate them

Hmmm, I can accept that, as long as your sig is the last thing I see. :winkwink:

chase 05-05-2006 04:57 PM

They're not red. Just kind of dry, I guess. Not like, flaking or anything, though.

I'm definitely not pregnant unless I'm growing the antichrist in there.

Ice really helped, actually. I've been avoiding using soap actually, because I've nursed three babies to six months or older, and I recall that using soap and water can actually dry up the oils in your nipple skin. Generally people don't drag their nips in the mud, so just the soap that washes down your body when you wash your hair and upper body is sufficient to clean them without drying them. My mom is a Mom-Baby nurse in Tampa, so she's gonna bring me home some Lansinoh (sp?) to see if that helps.

LittleMack 05-05-2006 04:57 PM

Damn girl, hope you feel better soon!!

Cyndalie 05-05-2006 05:00 PM

That used to ALWAYS happen to me right before my period. It will stop for a few years and then start again. Some kind of hormonal imbalance I suppose.

JumpStreet21 05-05-2006 05:06 PM

Have you been takeing any kind of drugs like OxyContin? This could be a side effect to drugs or something you ate.
