"fat" is way to over used these days.

I'd say that you may be a bit over weight, but not fat by any means.

yes, It still new thou, don't get excited about it..

I've made many mgp sites over the 5 years I've been online but sold them all.

WarChild 04-29-2006 05:49 PM

I'm down 51 pounds since January 1. Mind you, that was the worse I've ever been out of shape and I've been in rock solid shape several times in my life.

There's no secret to it, it just takes heart.

1) Cardio exercise. 1 hour a day, 6 days a week. Get a cardio meter so you can see where your heart rate actually is. You want to stay in your ideal range to burn the most fat. Too low and you're not doing enough, too high and you're burning more carbs than fat.

2) Eat properly and sensibly. Cut out as many bad carbs (sugars) and fats as you possibly can. Count calories this will really help you in the begining. With your body type, I'd shoot for around 2000 calories (no more than 2200) and less than 30 grams of fat each day. You can acomplish this and still eat tasty meals. I also suggest taking one day each week to eat whatever you like, but try to keep your portion sizes to a reasonable level. You have to reward yourself or you will burn out. Feel free to hit me up on ICQ for meal ideas and to start here's a calorie chart: http://www.ntwrks.com/~mikev/chart1.html

3) If you still have the time and energy after the first two, the most important two, then life weights. This will inrease your lean muscle mass which will in turn increase your metabolism. The faster your metabolism, the more calories your body will burn naturally each day.

What software did you use that make that FLV on your site?

Is it custom or did you make it out of scratch?

thricer 04-29-2006 05:50 PM

thanks bro, this may sound sad but everyday, I've been running up and down my stairs for a good 15mins, weights and been on my feet alot more, I already feel much better and got more energy to work, sitting down all day really drains ya and its only getting worst over the years.

a friend made it for me, the flash part of the player, than to compress the video you need Sorenson Squeeze to compress the video to .flv

I am working on a custom script to add reviews..
here is sample, not sure if I will have it open or just do them all myself.

Running stairs, running on the street, biking, stationary bike, whatever it takes. 15 minutes is not enough though. I'd say a minimum of 30 minutes, but much better if you can do 60 minutes of exercise. I try to vary my heart rate, with wind sprints and what not, while staying in my ideal range. A personal trainer, if you can afford it, is an awesome option too. You'd be surprised how bad most people's form is when they go to the gym. You'll be much better off, at least to start, if someone shows you how to do each exercise properly, and helps you build a solid routine. Your exercise days will change from day to day, week to week. You have to mix things up.

Anyway man, like you said, it doesn't get any easier as we get older ... So better to be on top of it now :)

Cubby... maybe lose 15 more pounds?

Considering the millions of americans who need to loose 100+ lbs, dont be hard on yourself.

this is the reason I never did shit, I feel like an idiot walking into a gym, I am not going to go outside my house and sprint up and down the street, have you ever seen a 350 pound women running down your street haha.

But I agree I need to start watching my eating habits, beer drinking "sending gf to go get some beer hahaha" and a trainer for sure, once It becomes a daily routine it will be a joke. when reading all that thou it sounds to hard to even bother trying.

Fucksakes 04-29-2006 06:22 PM

Seeing them ufc guys on tv, they look huge and they weight 50 pounds less than me, muscle must weigh much more than fat.

gfx3 04-29-2006 06:25 PM

You aren't fat but a bit of sport wouldn't harm you. You need to work out a bit, sit ups, push ups to get rid of the few extra kilo's you have right now.
A gym is just 1 place to get in shape. You can easely stay in shape without a gym or need for a personal trainer. Try to find some kind of sport you enjoy doing, for example playing basketball. If you do this every single day for 2 hours when you feel like it and have the spare time you will get more results than if you went to a gym 2 times a week.

mrthumbs 04-29-2006 06:36 PM

on a positive note: if you would start working out (lifting etc) it would be so easy to turn that fat into real body mass..

You can't turn fat in to anything. You can only burn fat off and build up lean muscle mass. There is no conversion possible.

georgeyw 04-29-2006 07:55 PM

you're a little chubby - how tall are you?

210lbs is ~ 90 something kilos - look up your BMI (body mass index) to give you an idea of where you stand against the rest of the population ;)

xlogger 04-29-2006 07:57 PM

you are a little fat, fatty. lol
