We regret to announce that Megapornbucks is shutting down effective April 16th/2006. Operations are closed and you will no longer be able to access your stats. All servers will be taken down in the weeks following our closure.

All affiliates will be paidout in full up to April 15th 2006.

We would like to thank all our affiliates and webmasters for their business and support. Please remove all links ASAP as they are being deactivated.

not sure why anyone ever takes down a network. unless you are getting out of the biz and dont care about all those residual sales and rebills. making a little money is better than none.

Yeah... a few to many shady practices caught up with them though, I think.

Ok I see that they were PPS, and held some sort of trip contest but for the life of me I can not see nor figure out what damn sites they ran. So could someone please let me know so I can search in my database. Thanks.

Must be chargeback problems.
That's the only reason I can think of for taking everything down completely.

Even if you're drowning in red ink you can still sell and get "something" for all the sites/servers/programming etc.

I spoke to Irrum as I was trying to get paid for 7 sales from last year. She stopped working for them a while ago. She did point me in the direction of someone at the company who can hopefully pay me .. we'll see.

They shouldn't have let KB pick their program name for them. With "Mega Porn Bucks" this was bound to happen.

I know you were serious, I was serious too, never tried them, never even looked at their stuff, have heard about them though. I do know of Bill and his Porn Mega Bucks though and he was before MPB.

there sites are still up and connected to paycom so I do not think they dropped the network. They just stopped paying folks.

Why the fuck do programs close without at least giving affiliates a vague explanation of why they are closing?

"Hello, we are shutting down our program in 2 days. Pull all your links because you wont get credit anymore. Good bye."

That just doesnt sit well.

They didn't notify their affiliates. People found out by trying to log into their site and finding out not only that it was closing in 3 days, but stats were no longer accessible.

Well considering they're getting out the business entirely they probably don't care how well things sit with the affiliates.
What are you going to do? Pull all your links to them and never send them another hit because they pissed you off? :1orglaugh
