I told myself id never be an affiliate manager/rep again because its not worth it. Plus from past experiences its not a delightful job! Id ask to much salary wise! Good luck with the program!

There is no ceiling to the salary for this position!

Although I can't pay all that much to start, I would love to find someone who is completely committed to running/developing this program with me. With time, I'll offer additional responsability and raises. I may also offer revenue share/partnership to the right person.

Priority will be given to US-based applicants so that phone support can be offered (And so that I can keep running around the globe shooting/finding the world's BEST content)

What sort of support can a US rep offer that a Canadian can't? I could offer the same affiliate ICQ, phone and email support someone in the US could.

Short answer: no.

Long answer:

I've gotten a several European applicants, which I think may not be especially practical because of the time difference between the continents. That's really the only reason I specified US applicants- I hadn't thought about a Canadian, and I agree that a Canadian could provide the same support an American could. I'm not ruling out someone European, and certainly wouldn't rule out a Canadian- many considerations will contribute to the selection.

As for credibility, I think it's earned over time. Junk shops open and close all over the world, at the same time major brands are built, internationally. This business, in particular, has really spread the globe.

I anticipate speaking with this person every day, and meeting with them throughout the year. So that's a serious consideration. The sites were developed by a company in Spain, and that has lead to minor language mistunderstandings, text mistakes and 4am skype calls. I want to make sure communication is sooper smooth.
