I was in my buddys place when I lived in Toronto... opened the microwave and there was one in the microwave. So I shut the door, put it on high for about 5 minutes, came back, opened the door and the little fucker walked out. I couldn't fucking believe it.

One of my few negative memories of living in Israel was that you could be sat on your balcony, enjoying a warm evening, and a cockroach might fly into you. Big buggers they were... in comparison, the house-dwelling varieties were almost cute.

A friend of mine showed me where the big 'roaches hung out during the day, by opening up a manhole cover to a sewer: hundreds of the bloody things were lining the walls.

They made us look at them under a microscope to check out the parasites that live on them. Cockroach fleas, fucking grim shit.

By the way if you really hate them think twice about eating chocolate. Chocolate factories are allowed to have a certain level of cockroach infestation in their Vats and pipelines. Theres no way to stop them.
