SexyBabes is a friend and a competitor. I believe he does business much the same way we do and seeing what has been posted I feel he is getting the short end of the stick on that situation. However that's another deal.

This thread is to address RogerV's rumour regarding DeanCapture. Here is what Roger posted on that thread...

Roger I'd like to explain the situation to you and I hope you'll point the rumour starter to this thread and ask them to email me if they have any questions.

First up, there is currently no company in the Glamour-Babe niche that is more aggressive than us, Twistys.com. Anybody who has dealt with us knows how we do business. We don't take no for an answer. We work our asses off to provide our members with the hottest women in the world and that in turn makes our affiliates more money.

That being said the talent pool in LA is limited. There is Us, Penthouse, Ddgirls and a slew of other sites that usually end up shooting the same girls. When there is a photographer as talented as Dean obviously he ends up in situations where he will shoot the same model for multiple sites. The majority of the models Dean has shot for us were contacted by my wife Beth (Mrs Shap). Dean made it clear to us that once he shot a model for another site he was not comfortable asking the model to shoot for Twistys, he felt he owed it to the other sites. Obviously that pissed me off. I don't like hearing no as an answer, especially when hot women are involved :winkwink:. One perfect example was Valentina Vaughn. I asked Dean to shoot her for us and he refused to do so because he had shot her for another company which he would not name. Dean cost himself alot of money (with us) by refusing to work with models he recently shot for others, that was something he valued and felt was more important than money. I respect him for standing up for that.

In the past year of doing business with Dean he has showed me that he values each and every one of his clients. Whether it be models they are shooting, locations, styles, demands, whatever. Dean never shared any info from photoshoots besides Twistys shoots. Work he did for other companies was 100% private info that was never shared with us.

Now to the rumor starter and anybody else who wants to blame Dean, step up and Blame Me! I'd love to hear what you have to say. If you don't sign a model exclusively she's open game and if she's hot she's going to shoot for Twistys. Any model that Dean shot for us was a result of Beth contacting and making the shoot happen. Dean never hustled girls for us and never contacted girls on his own. All contacts were either made by Beth or at Beth's request. Again if you want to blame anyone blame us :winkwink:

Well rumors can either lead to drama or fizzle out and turn into bs.

I just don't like seeing RogerV and Dean going head to head with each other for no reason. The truth is there is someone (probably a few people) out there upset with the bold moves we are making. There isn't much I can do about that. I'm determined to make 2006 our best year ever and that involves making wise business decisions. I can't worry about who's feelings i hurt when I make these decisions.

For the record wasnt me kickin rumors.

Dean is just an arrogant fuck wad.

Business is business. They should cope with it or throw in the towel.

Btw if you got to know Dean you know there is nothing further from the truth. He's a really nice guy.

It will die out because there isn't much behind it. Complaining about business moves another company makes is weak and in the end I believe that is what this whole situation is about.

Hey everyone, I just want to make mention of a few things regarding my first hand dealings with Dean...

As many of you may know, I am the one who deals with the photography end as well as major content purchases (among other things) for our site Twistys.com. I deal with many talented photographers *more than 40* and with 1,591 models in our Twistys database and 600,000+ images, it is inevitable that we are shooting many of the same models as our competitors in any given week or month.

With that said, I'd like to make a few comments specific to Dean and the shoots he has done / is doing for Twistys.com.

With regards to Dean's integrity; I don't know what he says to our competitors (about Twistys) but I do know what he says (and doesn't say) when he is shooting for us. I can say with confidence that Dean has never once mentioned any specifics about models or shoots regarding competitors, to me. I ask Dean for specific things to shoot and he nails it. He doesn't throw in extras or 'special' shots I do not ask for. Sometimes this makes me wonder if he could be doing more for Twistys... however, I have to commend Dean for keeping each client separate. I know he is doing different types of shots from time to time for competitors because I see it. When I ask Dean "Hey you didn't get (this type of shot)" his reply is "You didn't ask me for that specifically. Sorry Beth, send me a sample of what you want and I'll do my best to get it next time." This proves to me that Dean is not throwing around our competitor's signature shots just because he becomes good at delivering what they are asking for.

Another thing, Dean has never once offered up a model he shot for someone else, to me. In fact, on many occassions I have asked Dean to book a specific model I met at a show or found on another site/modeling agency site or found on a single model site... but Dean refused more than once. Why? His answer was simple (and I quote) "Well Beth, I don't feel comfortable calling _____ because I just shot her for one of your competitors last week. However, if you have or find her info, contact her. Have her get in touch with me and I'll see if I can book her for next month. I am sure you understand why I won't contact her now, I don't want (competitor name) thinking I am trying to offer up their girls to Twistys. I'm sorry." Now naturally, this made me a little red in the face. First, I didn't know he shot these girls for someone else and I really didn't care. Secondly, I had to go and dig up her info and go through the back and forth, and make the date happen. But again, I have to respect how Dean handles business while workng for so many people in the same niche. I have to respect his decision NOT to call her because he shot her for another site, last week. This is one of the reasons why I continue to work with Dean, not because he delivers consistenly good content but also because he is honest and he doesn't bullshit me. He never 'dogs' any of our competitors either so I assume he is not doing it to Twistys. This is the sign of a good business person.

With all this said, I have Dean doing some extra things for Twistys that I know he's not doing for other sites. Given the competitive nature of our industry and the fact that Dean works for so many paysites, I am pleased with the way Dean handles himself and feel comfortable working with him. I know he's not out to use our 'secrets' to benefit our competitors and I believe he is not using other sites' secrets to specifically benefit Twistys. :thumbsup

First off I was trying to prove a point to your boy dean about talking shit about a company that I do biz with, it was very much an inside jab that only he understood. I have nothing against you. youre doing the exact same thing I did for a friend right now. but he egged me on so I posted what I heard and didnt go into detail. it's not a rumour i just said that to be nice.

I also plan on making some very large moves PornoPushers within a month or so and have the past 10 years in the industry. I agree if there isnt an exclusive contract she's open game and any Hot girl out there will also shoot for BoomBody.com no biggy.

It was something done to a friend who is getting ready to launch his site and program that dean shot for and the way things were handled seemed unprofessional it has nothing to do about me I just felt bad for the guy. if you dont care about feelings why did you make this post..

twitstys is not the target of anything for my outside perspective. then again if personal things are involved, then well, that tends to skew things. but i know that you and roger are old school and i never like to see that kind of thing percolate.
