Ok am i the only one who thinks Internext Sucks ASS This time???

For all of you who didnt come to the show, your lucky you saved your money. This show is so poorly setup, if i was a exhibitor id be yelling for my money back.
Looks like this is the last Internext ill be attending in Vegas (especially since they are moving it to march next year)

Anyway its nice meeting everyone and the parties have been off the hook

... I had a friend of mine that told me he only had 35 people come to his booth... he was sooo pissed about it.. :P ouch... But the avn was really good

Vin, the show is weak this year. It was good seeing you out here and delivering your business cards to you for dvdwishes.com . The sushi din din was yummy, thanks anthony at E5hosting for taking all of us out. Treasures was off the hook A big thank you to Jerry,Ric, Ben , and Steve. It is funny that all of us jersey guys had to fly to vegas to hang out. Next time we chill at the studio.

One of the purposes of these big shows is so that people can meet and find new products/services. Every "good" comment I've heard about this show was regarding private dinners, parties, etc where you already know those people. Pretty much defeats the purpose of having the show.

its like the fucking Tokyo subway here at Internext. There are waayyy to many ppl from CES, cab lines suck, its a zoo in a bad way. AVN blew it big time.

Worst Vegas show I have been too by far and I have been coming since '99

waste of money for exhibitors for sure..

several companies such as topbucks, hustler, etc.. exhibited only @ AEE show, vs both like last time.. and seemed like AEE drew away most of the crowd, if there was a crowd to begin with.

Show was WEAK.

Yeah it was a shame that there wasn't the foot traffic there had been in previous years. The show floor was deserted but the parties and dinners were great!

actually, the only complaint i *didn't* have was the cab lines, was afraid they were gonna be terrible but didn't have a wait longer than about 4 minutes all week.

BTW Vin, it was great getting to hang with you and Kenny...you are great folks both personally and professionally

I came to vegas (and am still here) but I didn't bother getting a pass to the show so I can't really give a first hand opinion but most people that I've spoken to down here who did attend mentioned dissapointment. The MoviePost dinner was fantastic though.

I won't be attending next year but thats mostly because I've been to vegas too many times and I need a break from it, and its not because I think the show will suck. I imagine whoever runs Internext will likely take in all this feedback and make next year's show a lot better.

Phoenix Forum has grown to probably the second strongest show (next to Internext Vegas), but after AVN has screwed people over time and time again, I think that if they try and do it in March, CCBill will be able to step up and have the LARGEST, BEST show of the year.

The main problem was that CES was running at the same time. There were tons of people everywhere, but CES people.

The line to get into the TAO nightclub at the Venetian was so long that we didn't even bother.

And, the parties on the 3rd floor and Penthouse were hard to find. Unless you knew the room number, you could forget about it. Gone were the good ole days of open doors and wandering from party to party.

Hopefully the move to March 2007 will solve many of the problems.

Exactly, no one will come here (vegas) in March when the Phoenix show is a few weeks later. The writing is on the walls, Avn just doesnt know the webmaster community and they are going to lose out with all of us not going to their Vegas Shows anymore. But they are going to lose out the most when the DVD market starts to trend over to VOD and Online based streaming and all the webmasters whom they discounted before now hold the keys to the castle. AVN needs to get with it and get their heads out of their asses
