I'm not into the scat stuff either, but that was a good candid type of shot - I just would have had her arch her back or something.

Great expression and elbows on knees pose anyway (I like pouty lips).

I like 'em both, they're great shots; i love the black and white too.

i only spent a few minutes on getting that shot and the room was pitch black with only a small night light in there... i just told her not to move and the shot exposure was well over 2-3 seconds

the first pic would kick ass if the model didnt have that strange look on her face (im sure you were trying to capture a non-posing/real life happening kinda image) but she looks like a retard lol HOWEVER, the pic itself, with the makeup in the front, shooting it through the mirror and on to her, is awesome :thumbsup

the second pic is cool too :)

I would hyperventilate and pass out in 2-3 seconds. I assume you used a tripod...either way, under those circumstances, I would have to say that you are a better (photographer) man, than I, Gunga Din (Abyss Al).

I'm always open to tips, since I am a self-taught photographer.

I was just in LA last weekend (for AsianModelPalooza and Glamourcon - plus a handful of photo sessions), but I'll be back down to La-La-Land on Dec. 7th and 8th.

I'll be pretty busy on the 7th (I am contracted to direct six feature films in 2006 for another company), however if you want to hook up on the 8th, you can come to one of my photo sessions or we can hang either before or after.

that would be awsome... would love to exchange ideas and tips with you guys.... i am also self taught with some minor advantages... my brother is a pro and he always gave me advice as i went through college(where i learned mainly film photography)... but everything else just came naturally with trial and error... one thing alot of people dont understand is its NEVER about the gear/camera... it's all about the eye... seeing what others dont and capturing it... lets hookup in Dec for sure :thumbsup you do great work and so does alien... it should be fun :)
