It is not all about colour it's also about income level.

Look at the wealth level of those in prisons and you will see most of them are in the bottom 10%. Because they do not have expensive lawyers to get them off and see a better future for themselves than resorting to crime.

Not fighting to push any racism in this thread, people can easily throw statistics at blacks but keep in mind good things like slavery and segregation just ended a few generations ago. The same people who kept slavery and segregation alive have had signifigantly more time to establish grounds both financially and morally. You take people who have been treated like dogs for centuries and you expect them to magically become 'civilized' people when a handful of them still feel choked by society because they will never be playing on equal ground.

I could see if they came to America WILLINGLY but that isn't the case. People say "yeah it's easy to slam blacks but they're not helping themselves". On the contrary if you just look.. they're doing what they have been since they got here.. trying to survive by any means necessary. America put them in a perfection position.. squeezed out their usefulness and then 'proved' how savage they are by taking away what little they had and giving them nothing in return. Plucking an incredibly small handful of people out of an even smaller pile doesn't prove anything. From what I've read those people who live there were put in those communities when good 'ol segregation finally was broken.
