I have a life changing issue..... I need GFY's help
 

it's actually a compilation of issues.....


1. I'm burned out on rum & cokes and vodka / tonics..... I need a change but honestly, what else is there?

2. I can't decide if I should pull my dog in a tube behind the jetski, or if I should put him in front of me on the seat.

3. It's time to paint the pool deck..... should I attempt it myself or hire someone?


if anyone can help out here, I would sign my soul over to you.

I would try Gin and tonics,put the doggie on the front seat..what if he fell off the tube and it might traumatize him.Depends on the pool deck is it still in good shape or does the old paint need to be stripped off..If it is pretty good,I would paint it myself

switch to cognac mang. drink only cognac without mixing other bullshit in it and you won't even have a hangover.

oh and paint that shit yourself unless it's huge...

Pool decks are pretty easy if you can read the plans right. I say do it yourself.

I've never tried cognac..... but I've been VERY tempted the last couple of years.....

I tried some ancient scotch the other week.... was awesome.


Gin/Tonics... gin is an old friend of mine. But it makes me violent. Gotta stay away from the gin.

Landscaping.... just my own property..... I don't do anything for money. I'll be finishing up my property here this week around Wednesday. Then I got a couple mainstream sites to do as favors to some people on the mainland.... nothing huge.... and then I'm open to whatever interests me.

Not for money of course :) I am not too good at painting or landscaping but I try to help out when I have my pops over to do work. It sure is fun creating / improving the yard :)

word..... my yard has really transformed since I bought it. It looks amazing now. Definately some pride of accomplishment there.

but I'm at the stage now that I gotta start thinking about what's next..... cuz I can't sit on the couch and watch Oprah..... I'd rather die. So, I got a couple things in mind..... and always willing to try new things..... we'll see how it goes... :winkwink:

1. Teach photoshop / computer stuff to local kids or adults at a school or college?

You have good skills and mabey it could help some kid out or something? I know you live on a pretty wealthy island - so I don't know if there are alot of low income families / kids there?? - that might be able to use those skills and not pay much or nothing?

I was thinking about volunteering to the Humane Society. I love animals and I hate seeing them suffer.

Computer stuff..... I'd rather just pretend the Interweb doesn't exist anymore. (Aside from the occasional browse) I really want nothing to do with this stuf anymore. I think my time and effort would be of better use going to something like the Humane Society.

Easy. Buy more vodka, buy some of those frozen concentrated juices from the grocery, like rasberry, white grape, lemonade etc, and buy a few big bottles of club soda.
Mix as follows...

1-3 oz vodka (in a big pre-frozen mug if possible)
pour in an equal amount of concentrated fruit juice (let it thaw for a bit before-hand)
top it up with club soda,

These drinks will keep you busy and interested for a long time. Trust me on that.

Eh, I could go either way. If it's just a simple roll job with some special paint then I'd say do it yourself. Just attach a broomhandle or telescopic roller handle to the roller and roll that shit on.

If not, hire it out, pour yourself a drink and watch others do the work.

the scotch we had at Ruths Chris Restaurant was reeeeaaaallly fucking smooth. Even my girl liked it.

Cool. My suggestion: teach others your passion. Why not teach people how to surf? Personally, I'd love to learn to surf. We have some decent waves here in the Philippines (totally depends on the time of year though).

good suggestion, but surfing is not my passion. That was part of my "Amp" character here on the board.




I'm dealing with real world stuff now. Not make believe.

1) Try a Whiskey Sour, you might like it.
2) Put the dog on the front, you might not notice him missing off the tube behind you.
3) Paint it yourself, you'll have a sense of accomplishment everytime you use the pool.
