Test Drove a C6 Vette (pics)

I took my my 2004 C5 Lemans edition into the dealer to have some maintance done to it and I decided to test drive a 2005 C6. Man i think it time to trade in the 2004 for a brand new one, Everything is better the handling, the accleration. Its a bad ass car overall.

very nice! the c6 has the ls2 motor right? There was a great review on the c6 on top gear a while back.

The Corvette is the best sportscar in the world for the money....

I have owned a viper....bucket or rocks...too hot and when you really get on it the AC shuts down....get a tad warm in the florida heat....

Also went through every ferrari from 328-355

and let me tell you..the corvette is the best bang for your buck!

If you have a problem picking up the ladies...check out the viper....otherwise....

Do I sense sarcasm? The top gear review I saw basically praised the C6 for going in a straight line better than most other cars, but spent the rest of the time taking shots at it's build quality and lack of handling prowess...

My friend has a 2003 Z06 factory convertible. Only one they ever did in the factory. Special order and knowing the right people helped but it is possible.

I like my C5, but the new one does look good. I've been thinking about trading it in. We test drove a new convertible a few months ago, but I may wait for the hype (and price) to come down. I'm cheap like that.

I would never own a Corvette. Total piece of shit when you campare it to other cars in its class and price range.

I have an 04 C5 Z51 package, ArcticWhite. I passed on the Z06 for the same reason, I had to have the removable top. I test drove a C6 too and I nearly drove it home. But I resisted. I got a great deal on my 04 when I bought it last summer. Plus I hear the 06 and 07 may have some nice options like a 6 speed auto.

I test drove a CLK 430 before buying the Corvette. The CLK was nice, but it didn't "fit" me. Maybe, as I get older I'll change over to classy more than sporty. But, right now I like the Vette.
