Ok here's the deal. I am going to be handing out advertising material with a lottery ticket. On the last day of the show I will draw a winning ticket and the winner will win $5000.00 cash. You must be present to win. I will give out no more than 1000 tickets and will make sure that each attendee only gets 1 ticket. Now since I expect most everyone to be in attendance for the drawing, I thought why not give out more prizes? Why not have runner up drawings and give out things like DVD players, cameras, laptops, more cash etc? If we are going to have that many people assembled for the $5000 drawing why not make it longer and give out more shit?

So if you have something to spam and can pony up a prize valued at $500 or more post here who you are and what you can give as a prize. I guess I will have to get a loudspeaker and a MC for this to announce the winners. Your company/product will be given credit for it. Actually I will make a single brochure with every sponsor and the prize he is giving away and give this to people with their ticket.

Come on guys, I know there are lots of you that are not getting your own booths. this is a great chance to get in some inexpensive advertising.

I think that's really a great idea, but YOUR idea of cheap advertising as compared to the average GFY'er, appears to be a little out of whack.

Honestly, if this is related to your post a few days ago about giving it all away to one person, or make multiple winners, why not have a draw each night?

$1000 the first night
$1500 the second night
$2500 the last night

Same amount of money, but more exposure. People would gather each night for Choker's cash giveaway.

I thought of this, but when you gather this many people together at one time, they will probably not allow it twice.

That's possible, but I would be thoroughly disappointed in AVN if they didn't allow a creative promotion like this. Whether you wanted to run it one night or every night.

This is a promotion specifically geared towards the attendees, and I'd THINK it would be in AVN's best interest to allow things like this to happen.

(I'd state that you should get their authorization first though, JUST in case something unforeseen should happen at your giveaway).

Well everyone that gives prizes will be on a brochure I handout with the tickets. The drawings for the prizes will be on the last day of the convention unless I get a lot of prizes, then we can split them up into two or three different days. If you want me to hand out your brochures and spam you from my booth you can icq me for this. I am thinking of asking Burger boy to be the MC and announce the winners on a loudspeaker.

I will give away a copy of our 2247MAVIS software including the server spider and setup, that's worth at least 500 bucks ($50 for the software, $50 for setup, and $400 for the spider service and import)...
