Is xxxvogue.net using a hitbot?
 

I have a suspicion that this site is using a bot... I'm just curious what people think. It seems the more people I ask -- the more suspicious this site becomes... I have my own reasons to suspect -- but I'd rather keep them to myself for now...

Also here is something else really wierd... this xxxvogue seems to trade w/ all these sites that claim to be different webmasters but the sites look almost identical...

Fly, why you keep trading with these sites since you're suspicious about hitboting you? The best think to do is to stop any trade with this site and any other probably related.

There is no doubt an epidemic of people using hitbot technology now.

There has to be a better way to actually confirm this.

I have my eye on several sites right now I am very weary of.

I dont want to come out and say the names of these sites like The Fly did, but if I can confirm anything Ill keep it quiet, pay someone in the webmaster's Country $4000.00 USD to bring me back the guy's big toe and two bottom teeth.

I've only removed one site for having a bot and I caught it within the first 5 minutes of adding the link so I don't know what you're talking about... But these other sites I've pointed out don't seem to be so obviously cheating...

the majority of the webmasters put the same email adress on their domain infos and icq. If you put the email adress of icq these two numbers appear. The 113033236 looks like the latest icq.

My advise is to kill all the trades with the mentioned sites. Why risking all this time sending traffic to a site that might hitbot you? There are plenty sites to trade

Soul_Rebel -- good idea... but I hate to tell all my friends to stop trading w/ these sites just based on a "hunch" -- these sites send out A LOT of traffic and may be misleading many sites. I'd hate to get left out of good trades just because I'm not dealing in dirty traffic.

sexy-photos.net was sending me 7000+/day and as far as I could tell it was good traffic! I removed his link last night -- now I'm just trying to figure out who else he is connected with...

One of the main reasons I started to suspect sexy-photos.net is that he sends out WAY too much traffic for such a small site that just started out... 7000 day is a serious amount of traffic -- he jumped to the top of freeones toplist easily -- even when I was supposedly his #1 referrer -- he still made the freeones toplist even when I pulled out all my traffic... I did a trace on his traffic -- and found that a very large percentage of his surfers were clicking *his* link... which makes no sense... I didn't do a proxy test on his traffic but I already deleted his ass...

Yep -- I was looking at the sextracker stats of AGCW.COM -- he has xxxvogue.net listed as sending him 20,000 hits! Haha... But seriously xxxvogue could be sending traffic from other URL's -- looks like he may be redirecting his gallery post traffic to other sites...

But anyway I'm just suprised that nobody here seems to know this guy... for all the traffic this guy seems to have and for all the trades that he does with some pretty big sites (porncity, picwarehouse, etc...) -- you would at least expect someone on GFY to admit knowing the guy... can you not just redirect all his traffic and look to see if the percentage
drop in bandwidth equals your loss of traffic.

No pornjacker -- as far as I know there are bots that use bandwidth also... I think R3K posted a URL that contained info about this in his interview w/ 12Clicks but I lost the link... In any case -- if it's possible for such a bot to exist -- you can almost assume that it does. Somone could use the code of a fully functional web-browser and go from there... so count on cookies, javascript, etc. etc. etc. to be simulated... What they can't simulate is who they trade with and the traffic sources...

Vogue is Bent of bentbunz (pass the ass). He's been around for quite a while and vogue has a ton of traffic.

I'm not great friends with the guy but I do trust him. His traffic is very productive and a few months back I switched hosts and lost a ton of traffic. A nice link from vogue very quickly brought my site back to life. I don't think a bot can do that http://bbs.gofuckyourself.net/board/biggrin.gif

Another thing I noticed is that vogues traffic dropped more over the 24th and 25th than any other site I trade with. Pretty much every site dropped off over X-mas but vogue (who claims to have 60k+ bookmarkers a day) fell WAY off.

Last but not least... If someone can prove he's cheating I'll be first in line to rip his balls off but I don't think he is.... but, I will be watching this thread and his trade more closely in the future.
