Phoenix Forum Attendees - Things to do in Phoenix!
 

With the Phoenix Forum next week, I have been asked by several people about fun things to do in Phoenix (other than all of the great Forum events of course). So, I have put together a quick list, with links, of a few things to see and do in the local area. I have not personally done all of these activities, but put together a few of the popular local attractions that should give people a few "tourist" choices. Of course, this is not everything in the area, so if you have other ideas, post them here (I can even add them to the list).

I heard monday nights are good nights to go to strip clubs like Candy Store? is that true? I heard it from some Barbie chick and some SweetApples guy..

I totally love Arizona! Sedona rocks I was so taken away by the scenery there. I would also recommend a trip to Jerome...it is a really quirky town ... with lots of cool little stores and galleries.

I think between those two, they have sampled all of the strip establishments in the area, and are probably the local experts. :winkwink:

They say that there is a spiritual presence there, but everyone I know that has been there, never felt it. The red rocks are amazing!!!

My sister got married in Sedona on a church that overlooks the red rocks. Very pretty area for sure! And we stayed in cabins for the weekend, can't remember the name of them cause it was like 10 years ago but they were killer cabins too..

something like Don (someone famous)'s cabins

err, off topic compared with previous posts but if you like golf at all, Arizona has some great courses. Even if you don't golf, the scenery is awesome:

I agree... There are TONS of beautiful courses out here. I was going to narrow it down for you guys... but decided against it because there are just too many to list! :)

Golf is great this time of year, and there is MLB exhibition games as well. HIking Camelback for the masochists is also a great thing to do.

Sedona is great, but that is a long ass day trip.
