I am scared of the Vegas show; very scared, in fact.

I haven't had a cigarette or any form of nicotine in 2 weeks. This is the first time I've gone so long cold-turkey. I want so bad to quit. There are going to be 20,000 smokers at the Mandalay. :(

Nader 12-30-2004 04:58 PM

20,001 counting me sorry Rick :pimp

MBS Auto 12-30-2004 04:58 PM

YUP!!! That is the NUMBER 1 thing I hate about Living in Vegas... all the freakin smokers

When I fly to LA ...it like heaven, no smoke anywhere

More Booze 12-30-2004 04:58 PM

Thats sucks, but be a man, if you really want to quit smoking, just do it!

That's why we are waiting until after Internext to quit.....I feel for you, Rick.

xclusive 12-30-2004 04:59 PM

MBS Auto 12-30-2004 05:00 PM

candyflip 12-30-2004 05:01 PM

You're right on the cusp. Those 20k will either get you back on the wagon or help completely turn you off for good.

Good luck. :thumbsup

emthree 12-30-2004 05:02 PM

Walk with tar lung pictures, it'll help you get by.

Well, i quit when I did because I just spent 3 weeks snowboarding up in Whistler. I haven't struggled too much. Those first couple of days were murder but I've been ok since. I still have 30-60 minutes a day where I'm just real stressed.

I smoked from 12 to 32. I really don't remember what it is like to be a non-smoker.

My tentative plan is to hit the gym hard every day I'm there. That isn't easy to do during a convention. But you are on the right track. The goal is to stay alive and enjoy the fruits of my labor.

Pornkings 12-30-2004 05:07 PM

Haven't smoked for six months now and I still crave it. I might even brake down.

And we are both staying for the video side as well :1orglaugh

SomeCreep 12-30-2004 05:13 PM

Sucks to be addicted. Good luck quitting.

AmeliaG 12-30-2004 05:16 PM

Looks like you picked a bad day to quit sniffing glue... (gratuitous movie reference, not implying you actually sniff glue)

Missy 12-30-2004 05:19 PM

You can do it. Just stay away from that first cigarette. It's that "just one smoke" that will do you in. I quit just over a year ago, and it feels fucking great! If you can get through next week without smoking, you'll be on top of the world!

Bobbi Doll 12-30-2004 05:21 PM

Ha! Me too... I am not smoking right now but I probably will smoke some on NYE and a bunch in Vegas. I am done after the convention though.

Hate to say it, but Internext has blown my smoking alienation twice. I am smoking now and intend to continue through the show.

I quit easily, but the show is barrier I can't get over man....

Good Luck to you though.

RevSand 12-30-2004 05:52 PM

Good luck... Hopefully all the cig smoke will just make you sick and not want one now that you have been in the fresh air for so long without smoking.

MetaMan 12-30-2004 05:56 PM

smoke cigars, cigs are for faggy euros, i dont take you for a faggy euro, you should have nothing to worry about.

Manowar 12-30-2004 06:00 PM

Good luck on getting rid of them, think of all the pain you are getting rid of by quitting. Feeling better, longer life, more time to spend with the kids as they grow up. Dont give up giving up

ironlung 12-30-2004 06:00 PM

in florida its illegal to smoke in public places or restaruants, pretty much just in bars people smoke, im loving it

Mack 12-30-2004 06:01 PM

I quit for 3 weeks, but everyone around me demanded I start back up. .... I get a little moody.

Good luck, wish I could quit the nasty habit. A jogger for years and still light one. Asked a doctor once why I could run 10-12 miles with average of 8 minutes per mile and he laughed saying you are using different air passages and don't let it fool you. Wish I was smart enough or had the will power to take his advice. :)

Juicy D. Links 12-30-2004 06:03 PM

Rick if i see a Cigarette in your hand and you are smoking , ill bitch slap you. SMOKING IS BADDDDDDDDDD

tony286 12-30-2004 06:05 PM

Stop Smoking

I am going to make you guys an offer. Any of our affiliates that live, work, travel to or visit San Diego in 2005 and truly want to give up smoking. Busty-Bucks.com has an arrangement with a brand new company offering a laser therapy that has been 85% effective in Canada and the UK for more than 20 years. They just received permission to start treating clients via an IRB in the USA and its the first dedicated clinic in San Diego. The normal cost is $379.00 but our affiliates get the treatment for $229.00 until the end 2005. A $150.00 discount to B-B affiliates!

I hear they are opening up all over the USA in 2005 - 2006 so everyone should be able to get nicotine free if they really want to. Its completely pain free no drugs and takes less than 30 mins.

That's a good line. I like I'd love to have a cigarette but I'd hate to be a smoker.
