I cant see why any of that would require site to be down but still accept members and the free hosted galleries are still up..

One question what about all the hosted galleries, Galleries that affiliates mad and Free sites that affiliates made. Are you asking them to pull content also?

i dont really think a days notice is that good, mabye a month. what about all the people that submitted galleries yesterday and earlier today? they cant just take the links down.

I know this is a huge blow to some of our affiliates, as it is for us, but it was needed.

The galleries will NOT be 404'd and we are keeping the current members, but we will not be accepting new joins starting tomorrow.

at least it's something. You have to remember, Dubious Cash is losing out by this as well, they're not exactly out to make their affiliates lives difficult... affiliates are the ones bringing the joins.
