What was the first ROCK concert you went to?
 

Mine was Ozzy and Anthrax at Long Beach Arena back in 1988. I was 14 years old and was a baller back then:)

Van Halen - Diver Down tour, 1982. Back when they still had general admission seating. Ticket cost me 8 bucks. Hell of a show :thumbsup

Morbid Angel / Entombed / Unleashed in Cleveland at this place called Flash's.

I've seen ozzy 5 times(one with Black Sabbath)

1984 The Clash opening band was THE CRAZY 8's. THey were my favorite band. I saw the 8's many many more times. They originated from Corvallis OR. Finally they are getting a little web presence. Not nearly what they deserve. I spent years trying to find any of there cds. I finally did, and then just a few months ago at the Eugene Celebration I heard they got back together after breaking up in 1992. I went, rocked out right in front, yelled my head off, then met up backstage and met the band and went out partying with them. Coolest night ever next to partying with Kid Rock several months before that. I brought along one of my old concert shirt from the 8/8/88 tour and had them sign it. No one could believe that I still had it. It was cool.
THey will be playing one more time in Portland OR on New Years Eve. I will do everything in my power to go to that, but I forgot to ask them where it would be.

why is that. concerts are cool. best $30 I've spent

Queensryche fucking rocks! Would love to see em on tour again

Iron Maiden is my fav rock band. they are in their late 40's and still put out great music.

Never saw Iron Maiden but over the years ive seen ZZ Top, Springsteen 3 times, Boston, Alice Cooper, Motorhead, Judas Preist, and a few others I cant remember. lol

Ozzy was my first as well. Bark at the moon tour in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. Motly Crew was the opening band. YEARS AGO!!! I think I was 13.

My first ever concert was Green Day when i was younger, wasn't too bad. I've seen ALOT better though!

Hmm... first one I ever went to was an Ozzy gig. Been going alot more recently. Got a Killswitch Engage one comming up in december.. going to motorhead in a few hours. Yay!

I saw Motley Crue back in 1999. tommy Lee came back. it was a cool show. I have never seen so many chicks take off their shirt in one place. It was magical to say the least

Yup mine was Deep Purple back when they were in the Guinness Book of Records for loudest rock group. It was about 1979.

yeah i saw ozzy on the No Rest For The wicked tour. I really went to see Anthrax.


Anthrax rocked the house for 55min.:thumbsup

Three Dog Night, Steppenwolf, Grass Roots and Head Over Heels . . . 1966 I think . . .whenever "One is the Loneliest Number" was a hit.

did you see zepplin or jimi hendrix back in the day?

That is a very sore subject with me. I had tix to see Hendrix, then did something to piss my dad off (came home late on a date or something, don't really remember), and he made me get rid of the tix.

Hendrix died shortly thereafter. Had I known I would have suffered the guaranteed wrath that would have come down by disobeying him.

My dad was very big, and very strong and was not afraid to use it. You can't get away with that shit these days.

Never bought tix for the Zep . . . not really sure why.

lolloapolooza 92. Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ministry, Ice Cube, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam. My mom thought i was too young so my dad took me and my buddy, we were 13. Its still pro bably the best concert i ever went to.

about 300 people. it was awesome because I was right there in front giving the DIO hand sign he has.

I was 12 and as a birthday present my Grandparents got my tickets to go see Kiss. It was their tour when they had the big ass crazy lazer light pramid thingy that talked, without make-up.

Later that year (maybe it was two years I can't remember) I got to see Queensryche and Suicidal Tendencies, that was FAR better!

I like KISS, that is another band I would like to go see. another one is Aerosmith
