NastyDollars issues, or what else?
 

Someone ICQ'd me out of the blue saying their ND referral code was getting replaced on one of the tours join pages with "mcommerce_a".

I cant replicate the problem from my computer, so I'm assuming it's IP based problem, or spyware, or what?? I advised her to run adaware. Any other suggestions I can pass along?

I had that exact same problem. I visited my affiliate link to a nastydollar site and it was replaced with that exact same ID "mcommerce_a"!!

This has only happened to me once and I have not been able to duplicate the error either. I do not have any spyware on my computer.

I emailed nastydollars about this problem. They took almost 1 month to reply to me and when they did, they told me they could not duplicate the error.

I think the programmers are doing something shifty..

login to nastydollars and click PROMOTIONAL material then click amateurmovies and then hosted galleries and the ref codes are all wrong...

My nd onversions for the past month have dropped to 1/9000 , 1/1000 is normal for me and has been for the past year

I checked all my links several times over the past few weeks figuring something was fucked but couldnt find anything wrong

I hope Nastydollars addresses this issue. It cant be coincidence that 2 affiliates with no relation or contact are both reporting that their ID's were replaced with "mcommerce_a" while visiting a nastydollar site through their affiliate link.

I get the same thing with that "born" thing, but it only occurs when going to the FHG's through AllAmateurMovies coz it then calls all FHG's from:

no wonder they converted so fucking aweful over the last couple of weeks.

Last month i was 1:3489 which is 1 fucking cent a unique... I used to be at 11 cents.

No, what is happening is 1 out of X number of times someone clicks on your nastydollars link, your ID is being replaced with the ID "mcommerce_a".

I brought this to the attention of nastydollars and they were not able to resolve the problem because they could not duplicate it. How can they duplicate this problem though when 1 out of lets say 10,000 times someone clicks your link they get redirected. It is unlikely they will see this redirection when checking for the problem.

strange tho, I have not seen any problems with my actual link codes and sales/conversions are still normal for me.

I do get the problem on the FHG's tho,luckily I don't use those

My ND ratios have been horrible for a while now. From 1:300 to 1:700.

Must be one of those GLITCHES again.
Seriously, BS can only stretch so far. If there's a problem with a ratio'd ID, then it has to be in the code which SHOULD have been picked up ... unless their programmers are shady.

If those are infact current conversions, then you guys are idiots if you still have their active links up. :2 cents:

I currently do not have any ND links up, so I cannot give any recent experiences.

Ratio has dropped from 1:300 to more 1:1500 for me last few months. Something funny is going on.

yeah, we all know that if you keep promoting the same porn sites with the same traffic that the conversion ratios should ALWAYS stay the same.

this happens sometimes when its malfuntioning.

This is called: "profit optimization".

So it's a bug - what's the big deal?

Just change the 'wrong id' and put in yours - the FHGs are generated with 'your links' and it's fixed!

I tried it - it works.

Can anyone cause this to happen with certainty?

This is something I have experienced as well and I miss the old days.

But, I have been putting this off to market saturation. I track all my outbound traffic and my ND affiliate stats balance fine with my figures.

I still get sales and the conversions are not worse (usually better) than other popular sponsors.

I'm having no issues with ND at this point, conversions well under 1 in 800, no tricks, no major playing around...

As a programmer, I can tell you that at times, a very slight error or minor oversight on a new page can have unintended results. Changes in PHP in the last year have lead to a bunch of programs having minors issues that have been resolved as they go along. If you are that worried, promote someone else, I will gladly sell the membership and take the money :-)

mine too, if this is an error that occurs every 1 in 10,000 clicks it would be hard to generate tho.

I just hope ND inspects their scripts because this kind of shit has happened before.
