There are so many, so I have to make it top10

Philip Seymour Hoffman, Anthony Hopkins, Max von Sydow, Tim Robbins, Ben Kingsley, John Malkovich, Jeremy Irons, Jack Nicholson, Robert Duvall and Al Pacino is absolute convincing in their roles.

Robin Williams.

He has genuine heart and compassion. He understands human nature as most excellent comedians do. His movies move.

Pacino and DeNiro come next, but they have worn their (albiet exceptionally talented) character sets pretty thin. It's getting tougher to watch their new movies without feeling it's a rerun.
