There is currently a legal route being pursued with MelissaLincoln.com. I know because I am owed significant money from the owner and domain holder of melissalincoln.com as well, and am currently pursuing my own legal route along with Melissa. Do a search on "Nebraska Coeds" and "affiliate payment" and you will soon get a clear picture of the story.

The bottom line is, MelissaMidwest will be released soon, and conversion ratios are very good. Both sites are one and the same, with a different look and a different feel. HotMelissa has been promoted through the local circuit as of now, it has not been pushed through the webmaster community. That is what MelissaMidwest is intended for, and ultimately, that will be the one and only Melissa site. If you would like to beta test, hit me up on ICQ.
