Know that we know John Kerry changed his mind on being for the war and now against it and he changed his mind....
Should we not like him or vote for him? Or, should we stick with BUSH?
What do you suggest?
its kinda like buying a used car...
you've already got a used car.. that has problems.. and you know what those problems are.. but it still gets you from point a to point b... and starts everytime...
or you could go and buy this used car... that is being sold by using promises to get you from point a to point b faster...
but it does not have any guarantee..., and it starts on one day.. but decides not to start a week later...
there really is a dilemma here... everyone will just need to make their own educated decision.. instead of being a sheep and following the masses... look at thier own lives and how they benefiting or loosing...
I personally love the tax cut and benefited from it.. Kerry says he will immediatly raise the taxes... so he looses my vote...
i'm still waiting for some worthy independent to enter.. but I can only hold my breath for so long.
and we can not speculate on whether or not Kerry will be porn friendly .. i'm only looking at the facts.. nothing more...
It's easy to spin comments when you show a bunch of one liners, and cut him off before he finishes and makes his point. People who take bullshit like this seriously should watch the "dark side of the moon" documentary.

And Fahrenheit 9/11 was a documentary ... Right!

A lot of people are voting for Kerry not because they think he is a good candidate but just because they think he cant do any worse than Bush.
Personally I think he is a dipshit but I'll vote for him because I think he has less of a chance of starting new wars, while Bush always starts a war every year.
Do you seriously want a president who never changes his mind and makes decisions without taking into account the changing of the times.
Come one people...
The world changes every day and so do our beliefs. Judge people by who they are today not who they were in the past. If you judged presidents b/c they were flip floppers then why would you vote for somebody that was once not a Christian but now born again. That seems like a clear flip flop to me.

I want a President who is commited to the defense of our country. Lest not forget folks that on 9-11 our country was attacked much like Pearl Harbor.
People accuse Bush of "starting wars" but they came here, and we didn't ask them to. Harry Truman wouldn't have stood for that shit, and Bush isn't either. Killing other people in war is not an easy thing. But it is sometimes necessary.
Teresa Heinz-Kerry is a smart person
Edwards is smart
Kerry is smart
Bush got the religious groups in his back pocket.
I am Pro Choice
I am Pro Free Speech
I don't like the idea that he will raise taxed when you make more than 200k per year either
However!
I don't like the way Bush lied regarding Iraq
If Bush gets re-elected we are either going to Iran or North Korea that means we are going to get the draft. I have 3 boys in Draft Age.
I hate Ashhahahahaha
I hate Cheney (he has a gay daughter and is against gays)
I don't like the idea that Bush is against stemcell research
I don't care for Bush and most of his ideas
So, we are voting against Bush and not for Kerry
So I guess we are voting for Kerry
God help us all
Partying since '96 and not going anywhere Anna's Dorm

KEY DISTORTIONS CONTAINED IN THE NEW BUSH-CHENY VIDEO:
CLIP-FLOP
Republican?s Creative Editing Distorts of Kerry?s Iraq Position
1. Face the Nation, 9/23/2001
Republican video:
?Saddam Hussein has used weapons of mass destruction against his own people and there is some evidence of their efforts to secure these types of weapons and to test them. [Face the Nation, 9/23/2001]
Kerry: Hussein?s actions underscore importance of dealing with terrorists first
BORGER: Do we have any information that chemical and biological attacks were part of this [September 11th]? We got news this morning about the crop-dusting manuals.
Sen. KERRY: No, at least I don't and not to my knowledge do any of my colleagues. But it is something that we know--for instance, Saddam Hussein has used weapons of mass destruction against his own people, and there is some evidence of their [terrorists] efforts to try to secure these kinds of weapons and even test them. That's why it's so vital that we get the global community to be part of this effort to begin to make their [terrorists] lives miserable.
I see this argument often and don't fault anyone for thinking that. The Big picture is that Saddam Hussein/OSB/Al Zarqawi/and all the other idiots are the problem.
In WWII it's wasn't just the "Germans" or the "Japanese", it was an Axis power.
Fucking up Iraq's shit is much the same. Removing elements that foster hatred against Americans and plain freedom needs to be stopped wherever it lies.

You do know that we have removed a secular leader and replaced him with a government that will end up being pro-Islam right?
That's what some of you right wingers seem to miss. By getting rid of Saddam we have helped Islam, not hurt it.
Is that what you want, more Muslims in the world? More Muslim countries? More Muslim power?

come on man... he's totally poll driven... just like big brother Clinton...
I guess we allow North Korea to blackmail us or sell nuclear secrets and/or material to nations that support terrorism. What about Iran, you don't really think they are building nuclear facilities for "peacefull purposes" do you?
No one in that region is a true ally, they all have their hands dirty when it comes to terrorism. Just none of the countries can directly control the terrorists and they have allowed "independant organizations" to evolve by breading hatred for Western Democracies. It is easy to oppress a people when you channel their anger towards another country, and then throw religion in the mix which makes it 100x worse.
Do you think Sadamm or one of his sons would blink an eye if a terrorist group came to them and said, "You don't have any spare Anthrax laying around do you?". Not in a NY minute!
Sorry, I had a friend who died in the Pentagon. So I may be a little biased when it comes to fighting terrorists.

Do you only vote on a candidate based on a tax cut?
If it is...that is fine.
I look at what affects me at the time.. i'm just not going to cast a vote for an unknown who can't figure out what he does or does not believe...
does this war personally affect my daily living??? no, I get up .. I go work out, I go to work.. I come home.. I go to bed... just like the rest of you.
does government funded stem cell research need to be done?
no privatized is doing just fine... use my money for education and to protect our boarders... thanks
Mr. FIction... did COPA not get struck down??? again.. a fact.. not speculation or what could have happened.. but what did happen.
Steffie: bush did not lie about Iraq. he relayed the same information that Kerry believed and saw... again.. lets stick to facts...
also.. the draft is a scare tactic used to scare the sheep...
the military is still turning away voluntary rucruits today... the only reason they asked for retired reservists....was b/c of the experience and skilled training they already possesed.
like it or not, sadam would have been the first person to supress any other upstart seeking power in his country. Duh. Thats what brutal dictators do. Like it or not. (I dont like it, but I acknowledge it)
Look to saudi arabia. They keep all the possibilities for this shit alive, knowingly.
LOL, Mr. Fiction hit it on the flipping head. I am looking at my bottom line, Bush is nominating religious extremist who want to get rid of porn. Meaning getting rid of my income. Shit, I don't care how much Kerry taxes me as long as I am making my bottom line. I scrolled threw alot of post to get to Mr. Fiction, seems he and a few others know what is really going on here. Or haha probably Fiction and I are the only ones making real money from porn LOL.

This is a quote from Bush's favorite Supreme Court justice talking about online porn a few weeks ago:
this business could, consistent with the First Amendment, be banned entirely
- Antonin Scalia, Right Wing Supreme Court Justice
We know for a fact that Kerry will not appoint an extremist right wing justice to the Supreme Court.
Anyone who spreads bullshit lies and propaganda that Kerry is not better than Bush for the porn industry is either lying or stupid. That's a fact.

there's not that big choice over there, you can pick one lier from the choice of two ones. who lie more trustworty, he'd have more chances to be chosen one. that's politics. easier than math

haha. i was in germany in someones office meeting some guys about some software and there was a big picture on the wall of this. it was very funny because we all sat down around this guys desk and everyone at once realized this was on the wall and knew it was too late to hide it or play it off. finally, i had to laugh at it just to ease the tension.
personally, i think its funny. but i also don't think that europe is any more well informed about North America

Actually, I'm pretty sure we are better informed about North America (and especially the US) than Americans are about Europe. You see, most movies and television shows we get to see here are American, and while what you learn about topography in school is forgotten pretty easily, hearing cities or states being referenced on tv very regularly eventually leaves a lasting impression.
Aside from that, smaller countries tend to focus less on themselves and more on the rest of the world than large countries - especially because those large countries have a big influence on global politics and economy, and thus on the smaller countries.
God forbid somebody changes their mind about something. I thought the war in Iraq was a good idea, too. I thought there were weapons of mass destruction. Holy shit, i was wrong and now i've changed my mind. Flip flop, or opening my eyes?

What does 9/11 have to do with Iraq? Did you buy into the bullshit, that they've already admitted they fucked up.. Harry Truman was elected president, and even though he did choose to use the atom bomb, he did so under extreme care under the thought that by using it, he would be saving more lives. He took office during the war, he did not declare war.
If you are referring to Korea, that was a mistake altogether. Which neither helped us, or South Korea. In fact, we lost American lives and accomplished little.
I see this argument often and don't fault anyone for thinking that. The Big picture is that Saddam Hussein/OSB/Al Zarqawi/and all the other idiots are the problem.

Guess how many countries hate Americans now after Bush, than before Bush, due to his lack of concern for what the rest of the world thinks.. The plain and simple fact is no American likes Saddam, but we do not have the right to tell the world to fuckoff and eliminate him.. what would stop Bush from doing it to whoever he wants? What you say makes sense, however, it fails to take into account the bigger picture.
To use your analogy of WW2, guess why the UN was formed.. to prevent another ww2, to prevent people from interacting in other countries affairs, to create a league of nations where the world can decide how to intervene in a singular country.
This league Bush ignored after support for his idea was weak. Do I think Saddam is a bad guy.. yes? Do I think he should be out.. yes? Do I think we should do this on our own without support of the UN... no. Was Saddam a threat.. ready for the answer.. NO - he had no WMDs, and we really had no reason to be there, the threat was minimal and definitely didnt warrant a war. and those are the facts.

After WMDs were not found and never likely to be found the excuse for invading Iraq was discredited. Any one who thinks America is safer after the invasion is living in cloud cuckoo land.
There is more hatred towards America not less. It's hatred that breeds terrorists.
