That's not a puppy. At least . . . I hope not. That head is huge.

8 - 11 inches, mine is about 10inches already (2 yrs). with a life span of 10 - 14 yrs.

Oh my god those 2 little dogs are the sweetest things I have ever seen. They look like the same dog from 2 different posters. Whats up with that?


Anyway I wanna know the breed to I can get some :)

BTW how big will they get?

They're both shih tzus. Mine, Chloe, now weighs about 18 pounds. They are on the top end of the small dog size. What's nice is they don't have a small dog bark. Chloe's bark when someone comes to the door has the person at the door wondering what is coming when the door open. When they see how low to the ground she is, they are surprised. Shih tzus can be left long haired (their fur will grow to where it touches the ground), but I prefer what's called a puppy cut for Chloe.

Funny when you own a Chihuahua and someone says their dog weighs 18 lbs you think....wow.....that is HUGE...but in reality 18 lbs is tiny...unless of course you own Chihuahuas and the biggest is 4 1/2 lbs :)
