Homegrown Termination - Homegrown Response
 

Please be advised that CEcash (Trade News Corporation, N.V.) has decided that it will no longer promote the
www.homegrownvideo.com website and that effective immediately it is terminating its marketing relationship
with homegrownvideo (TM). As a CEcash affiliate and pursuant to paragraph 3 of the affiliate agreement between
you and CEcash you must therefore immediately remove all CEcash 'homegrown' program materials, including any
banners and text links that advertise the homegownvideo.com website via any CEcash affiliate program.


This came as surprising news since I had to hear it first from one of our now FORMER affiliates on a web board...

All I can really say right now is thanks to all the people that have supported Homegrown Video. I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

A more official response will be forthcoming.

I was going to promote HomeGrown until I read that they were sueing CE... Or something like that.. Or at least that's how I read the info I had.. So I've actually been waiting for this to happen. Let us know when homegrown gets it's own program.

Even tho they are not required to CE could have given you a warning or something.

Homegrown need your support to fight Acacia for us all.

I am truly humbled by the kindness and generousity of these posts!

This news really caught us off guard and I only expected very negative backlash.

The feedback here is incredible and I hope that whatever we do going forward that we will do it in a way that honors your generousity and faith in Homegrown.

We are still in a state of uncertainity and frankly shocked by CE's announcement; we do not know what we will do exactly because this took us completely by surprise. I do know that we must weigh all options in the interest of maintaining and growing our business.

It sucks that this kind of stuff happends in our industry, and we would love to help you get back on your feets ASAP. Homegrown has been an important name in the industry and it should stay that way.

Sorry to hear that Far-L, but I bet your own program will do better for you guys in the long run. The real, amateur content of Homegrown never seemed like a good fit with the cookie cutter CE sites.

As a Women, before I was in this industry Homegrown was the only site I ever paid for. Better yet it kept my interest and i paid for it every month for a while!

If you want to stream your movies on our VOD site I would be tickled and honored!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are still waiting for some kind of official notice from CE... I still only have third party hearsay to go on... and that notice to affiliates only affected that aspect of the relationship so we are confused and trying to find out what is going on.

We support HomeGrown all the way, and our members love the HomeGrown plug-ins on our pay site. (Anyone with a paysite should have them).

You guys are a class act. Keep your chin up, these things usually happen for the best.
