Portugal played really well.

England had a perfectly good goal disallowed which would have won the game.

Dude. Terry totally held down the keeper. He wasn't even able to get an inch off the ground to reach the ball. That goal wasn't allowed because it was clearly a foul.

We played badly through out the tournament.

Compare their shots at goal against ours and their possession to ours. We got beat, it was a wonder it took so long.

Our best player was Campbell, in a good side your central defender does not get that much work.

The midfield was a let down for the whole competition, Beckham never played well, Gerrard was poor, Scholes disappeared from the game for long lengths and Lampard was left to fight a lone battle.

Without Campbell playing out of his skin we would have never got passed the qualifying round.

Rooney looks a good bet for the future. But you have to give the forwards the ball if they are to score goals.
