He sais he won't get addicted. Thats right brother, ciggaretts are not addicting. ahahha. I'm gonna show him this thread. Anyone have any messages for his idiot ass?

Joe Citizen 05-25-2004 03:07 PM

Take him outside and kick the shit out of him. Seems pretty stupid and thats how I teach stupid people. :1orglaugh

detoxed 05-25-2004 03:12 PM

Well when i was 15-16 I smoked cigarettes all the time, everytime I drank. I smoked probably a pack a week.

I said "I wont get addicted"

Guess what? Im not fucking addicted and havent smoked a cigarette in months and havent smoked a whole pack in years. Just because you start smoking every once in a while doesnt mean you will start chain smoking.

freeadultcontent 05-25-2004 03:14 PM

Why were you not concerned with the drinking? Specially since he is underage.

Whoever made that law in the US should be shot. You can go to strip clubs, do pretty much anything, but can't drink until you're 21?
In many civilized European countries legal drinking age is 16, and no one's crying because of that.

So what's the problem with drinking at 19?... even if its against the idiotic law? As long as you don't go overboard it's all good.

loverboy 05-25-2004 03:20 PM

smoke now and die later.

Nothing, just like smoking.

Health risks aside.... do the math on the amount of money it'll take.

If he does get hooked, and ends up smoking even half a pack a day.. that's 365/2 = 182.5

Now, smoke prices vary from place to place... but let's say an even $5 a pack for the sake of making this easy. It'll be $20 a pack within 10 years I'm sure though.

Anyway, $182.5 x $5 a day = $912.50

Imagine spending a grand on smoking each year... just to waste away your health.

And that's a best case scenario. Chances are, if you're hooked... it'll be more than half a pack, and $5 is cheap....

So save the money... put it towards something more useful.

asuna 05-25-2004 04:59 PM

have him smoke 6-7 cigarettes in a row, if he still wants one after that, make him smoke 7 more until he pukes, he'll never want to smoke again

$5... I wish... my last pack cost me $9.50 :(

JDog 05-25-2004 05:01 PM

It depends on what addiction he has to them. I'm not addicted to the nicotine, but to boredom. Like when I'm driving, it's the having something in your hand like a pen or something!

hes a late one or something most people in england probly start about 14

Rictor 05-25-2004 05:40 PM

Sounds like a retard. My brother took up smoking for a while when he was 18, or tried to at least. It got back to my dad that he was smoking (one of my dad's friend saw him smoking at the mall or something). Anyway, my dad wasn't a physical man, but he tore into my brother verbally and I've never seen him smoke since then. He's 24 now.

heh... I know, I was thinking for the US folks... and even then, still being rather conservative on the price.

yeah i smoke when i'm with friends but never alone...so i'm not addicted too

Nysus 05-25-2004 05:44 PM

The combination of chemicals in cigarettes are more addictive than crack/cocaine. Maybe let him know the odds are severely against him of not getting addicted.

Cheers,
Matt

EddiePulp 05-25-2004 05:55 PM

Same way I started, turned into a 3pack a week habit and if I kept going I'm sure I wouldve been smoking a pack a day. Was hard to quit but I've been without one for almost 4months, cant even stand the smell now. Absolutely discusting, plus girls hate smokers!

reynold 05-25-2004 05:57 PM

As long as he knows the consequences, let him.

ldinternet 05-25-2004 06:02 PM

Enjoy your cancer, son. Personally I would never burn my money like that, but as it's your own money... go right ahead - this planet is overcrowded anyway. :glugglug

brizzad 05-25-2004 06:06 PM

ween him off the cigs with a nice fat blunt

NakedBo 05-25-2004 06:09 PM

He is 19 so I guess you can't stop him. But he should think twice about starting to smoke. It starts as a few times a week, and before you know it you will be smoking a lot!! You get short breath from it, and your skin will start looking like shit. You can get cancer and some more things from it. Quit while you can.

B40 05-25-2004 06:09 PM

It's funny I have friends that say they can't get addicted, won't get addicted, can stop cold turkey if they wanted...so I tell them to go one week without smoking and they can't even do that :1orglaugh
