johnbosh 05-18-2004 05:41 AM

.125

zzgundamnzz 05-18-2004 05:44 AM

3.60 If it goes up higher than that I'll get a civic hybrid :)

JFK 05-18-2004 05:45 AM

No limit , it is what it is .......Last time there was a gas crisis I bought a Caddillac because others were dumping:winkwink:

woj 05-18-2004 07:01 AM

Once it's starts going above $5/gallon, I will start complaining... and start seeking alternative modes of transportation....

Living For Today 05-18-2004 07:04 AM

Dont know what gallons are but once it goes above $1 a litre here I will be pissed off. I won't alter my driving but it will start to piss me off regardless.

DR_PHIL 05-18-2004 07:06 AM

no limit here either..might get a smaller car soon though

Enema 05-18-2004 07:15 AM

My car is a 550cc 3cyl.

Petrol prices can go wherever they want.

JamesK 05-18-2004 07:17 AM

No limit.

PBucksLauren 05-18-2004 07:20 AM

no more than 4 bucks a gallon.

BTW Wednesday is Gas Boycott day! So don't buy gas, get it tonight if you really need it.

skinnay 05-18-2004 07:20 AM

in hawaii i was paying $2.48 for 92 at the pump. a night of racing cost like $20, but i averaged $8 a day regular driving in my firebird :) now i dont have a car so i dont give a fuck.

what the fuck is the point of this "dont buy gas day" if you still drive your car? people are just going to buy more gas today and thursday. if people really want to do anything they should have a "dont drive your car" day. they say that would cost oil companies 6 billion dollars a day, but guess what, they can shit 6 billion.

what if everyone only started filling up at say sunoco stations, it would cause others to lower their prices

MandyBlake 05-18-2004 07:30 AM

I guess we don't really have a limit.
We don't live in a city with a good public transit system.
Also, I don't want to put the things I want to do on hold, cuz people can't figure out how to get the gas prices down.

Gas is at 1$ per litre here in MTL, thats starting to annoy alot of people. There is really nobody at gas stations since yesterday in my area. Everything is completely deserted. Eventually they will have to go back though.

EviLGuY 05-18-2004 09:07 AM

Getting to be there right about now.

Sucks.. I was planning a cross canada road trip this summer too. The gas prices wont BREAK me.. but I am half scottish, so I hate getting ripped off. :)

PrivateEye 05-18-2004 09:14 AM

I hope it dont up up 2 much more but we will continue to drive :-(

riosluts 05-18-2004 09:16 AM

even if it doubles what it is today people still will buy it because they will need to. Hard to live without a car.

Arousal Design 05-18-2004 09:19 AM

yeah, no matter how high the prices go people will still buy it.

The Heron 05-18-2004 09:20 AM

I never wasted gas before prices went up, wtf you fags just go drive around to jerk off or what?
This summer I'll probably drive my motorcycle more though, and maybe look to buy a car instead of my truck.

Sport Bikes are the way to go with gas prices the way they are now. You prolly get something like 35-40 miles/gallon on a 600cc bike....bastards!!! lol

C_U_Next_Tuesday 05-18-2004 09:24 AM

I wouldnt mind having a moped to drive around town :glugglug

Basic_man 05-18-2004 09:27 AM

1$/liter, and we are at 0,99$ right now ! :ak47:

Spudstr 05-18-2004 09:36 AM

going to look at a yamaha yzf-r6 today :) the STi is a fucking gas hog and can sit in the garage till weekends for autoX and such.

savings in gas by NOT driving the STi = a 2k4 r6 with insurance each month... pretty fucked up

This vehicle doesn't get very good mileage from what I've read.
http://www.wired.com/news/autotech/0,2554,63413,00.html

You would get getter mileage with a motorcycle or scooter

Faith69 05-18-2004 09:50 AM

Everybody gets screwed on gas prices! In the UK, gas is almost $6.00 a gallon... so we should feel lucky I guess, that we only pay $2.25 a gallon... but when we were used to $1.50 a gallon not even a year ago, it makes it hard to swallow that they raised it that much :) If it goes past $2.50 a gallon, I'm going to stop driving and start complaining LOL '

Mommy mommy why are they doing this to us! LOL

Faith xoxo

I know! We had been planning a cross country US RV trip... and now with gas prices as they are, there's no way in hell we'll be able to afford the gas on that big of a trip... by gas going up from $1.60/gallon when we were first planning to now $2.25/gallon.... that would cost us about $3000 more... oh it sucks right now! No I'm not bitter... where's my gun LOL

Faith xoxo

SNG 05-18-2004 09:55 AM

I'm already about to buy a bike! I think $25 is ridiculous to fill up my Mustang. Especially considering how much I drive. I bet I fill up every 3 or 4 days :(

PBucksLauren 05-18-2004 10:05 AM

There will be a lot of people trading in their SUV's.

YourSexySecrets 05-18-2004 10:09 AM

My next car is a hybrid. 2.06 a gallon is ridiculous!

TheHitman 05-18-2004 10:10 AM

I really don't think we have a choice!

GeXus 05-18-2004 10:12 AM

Perhaps we could all ban together and visit DC and protest for bush to tap into the oil reserve, instead of just pooring more money into it...

arial 05-18-2004 10:13 AM

Considering my car hasn't moved from it's parking spot in almost a week (tomorrow will be a week) I think I've already hit that limit.

hydro 05-18-2004 10:16 AM

$10 a gallon, after that ill just start ordering everything i need online. Besides i got a pool in the yard and all my buddies live within walking distance :thumbsup
