* MAJOR WARNING * on a GFY post

Waiting for a response on this thread.

http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...hreadid=256151

In the meantime CAUTION on the domains being offered on this site til I find out the scoop.

These were domains that were associated with and controlled by Nick Nolter in Ft. Lauderdale prior. I'm not sure if they all were, but I've already spotted some I know for a fact were.

Nick screwed over loads of people with his turnkey gambling site scam and MasterMerchant processing operation. A lot of casino's he processed for never got their funds. He has hardcore enemies all over South Florida. His operations got shut down. From what I heard someone even hired a contract hit on him which I think made the papers, when the attempt got botched.

Its possible the guy who is claiming ownership and offering them for sale might legitmately own them, but Nick had lots of litigation going I'm sure and these might be tied up in his mess.

Again I do not know for sure what the status is. I posted and the original poster has not responded yet. So the domains may be free and clear and his. But if Nolter still has a hand in it, I'd be very careful.

They also used the name WorldNet in their operations.

I wrote it off years ago, but I think I personally got fucked in the low 5 figure range from Nolter's companies.

They were also operating under Explicit.net which is on that list of domains.

I want to know how this guy at Zoot graphics got all these domains. That's the question that needs to be answered.

I would guess that the guy selling them is a domain broker.

Nick always had people fronting for him. So are these still his domains?

I'd caution anyone buying these without an ultra strong indemnification clause from the broker and the real seller whoever that is.

Odds are there are a lot of people looking for his assets still to recover their money.

I wouldn't buy them personally, but unless they are stolen, I doubt there is much to worry about. You rarely know the personal history of the person you are buying a domain from.

If they are stolen, then you will be fucked.

Good looking out KRL. I was actually seriously looking at 2 of his names. They aren't worth this kind of drama for the prices he's looking for.

:thumbsup

Again to emphasize my point. These might be ok now. But they were a couple years ago all part of Nolter's operations which got shut down with him leaving a lot of people hanging from the credit cards he processed but never paid the funds to the casino's and adult sites on.

Its possible these could be the subject of litigation therefore.

And again the keyword is "possible".

izoot 03-22-2004 03:41 PM

I am brokering these names for the legal owner...I am not related to anything other than sale of the names.

The implication I am doing something unsavory here isn't appreciated, I have been in the domain industy for a number of years.Quite a few people on the boards know me, some of signifigant stature and can vouch for my character. I have never cheated ofbeen deceptive with anybody.

If there is some issue with selling these names ( obviously without history) please email and let me know.

I am not "fronting" for anybody. I merely was researching poker names ... found one I liked and contacted the owners. After conversation I was offered the opportunity to broker the domains.

That simple...no conspiracy.

KRL 03-22-2004 03:47 PM

izoot, I am not saying you are unsavory. Nick Nolter has a bad rep a mile long. These were his company domains. He has a lot of people after him looking for their money. He processed credit cards and screwed over banks, casinos and site owners.

Jedimaster 03-22-2004 03:49 PM

Thanks for the background info:thumbsup

Hi KRL...
Ya I understand..nothing wrong with pointing out history...I just wanted it clear that my history is not that. :)

I found out history after the fact and I even asked about the history. So I know a bit more at this point.

So anyhow...what I represent here is the domains...they are still legally owned by the same company and I have been given permission to sell them with no history attached.

I have already sold several and purchased a signifigant one myself.

To my knowledge everyone has recieved names and all is fine.

Anyhow...at this point these should be considered as nothing more than good domains for sale. I can understand if anyone chooses to pass .... and I will happily refrain to posting about them here. I'm not looking to create any problems or create bad feeling.

IF you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

No problem with you at all Iz. Just wanted everyone to know who had these domains. They may or may not be subject to litigation even if they transfer sucessfully that's all I'm saying here.

Lawsuits follow people and their assets as well.

I moved from other thread....

Hi KRL,
To my knowledge they are still owned by Nick Nolters company. I have never spoken to Nolter, I have only dealt with Mr. Benami , his partner.

I have a signed agreement from them to broker the names and Mr.Benami has never been other than upfront and direct in our conversations.

Sorry for being a bit on the defensive..this kinda caught me by suprise.

Thanks KRL...I appreciate that you understand my position. My intentions in the sale of these domains are nothing but honorable.

All sales have been handled through escrow.com. I want to protect myself and others that would buy the names. If I thought there was any issues I would not have agreed to broker them.

Thanks and sorry to cause such a stir...
