Wow! I just met one of the big guys from the outlaws! Scared the shit of me!

Someone I just met last night gave me a call and asked for my help. I went and helped him out with his bike. As I was standing there, these guys came up. The guy I was helping out writes for a well known motorcycle magazine. They recognized him and his bike and came over to see if they could help. They gave me a really dirty look and then asked if I was with him. I couldn't even speak, I just shook my head yes...they told someone else to fuck off. These guys where scary mother fuckers! They've been known to shoot people just for looking at them wrong. They actually ended up being really nice to me because of the guy I was helping.....But, fuck....I never want to be that close to an outlaw again!!!

dropped9 03-06-2004 01:11 AM

noobie alert - exercise extreme caution.

AmeliaG 03-06-2004 01:16 AM

Girl, you are just flirtin' with danger this week :1orglaugh

fatal attraction 03-06-2004 01:17 AM

Hey Headless....how many "outlaws" have you met? Actually, another outlaw ended up asking me out for tomorrow night. LOL

fatal attraction 03-06-2004 01:19 AM

greentea 03-06-2004 01:20 AM

Hey, it is all good if (a) you don't get killed (b) you don't end up in jail and (c) you either have fun or it makes a good story later!

fatal attraction 03-06-2004 01:26 AM

You guys are kidding? right? The outlaws are group from all over the world that give all the the bikers a bad name....they are veryyyyy scary people! They will kill someone if they don't like them.....very bad guys!

baddog 03-06-2004 01:37 AM

Are you in Florida? if so, go over to the Cabbage Patch, it used to be a popular hangout for them (haven't been there in a while)

I remember one time my ex-wife was wasted and wanted to get in a fight with one Outlaw because he took her barstool when she went to the head.

exspamr 03-06-2004 01:40 AM

wow, how scary

I think you give them way too much credit. The HA are a lot bigger, badder, and well-known than the Outlaws. I think the Pagans, Mongols and Banditos rank higher than the Outlaws also . . . . although I would not care to argue the point with them :1orglaugh

fatal attraction 03-06-2004 01:49 AM

Hey baddog, I tried to go to the harley shop next to the pub last night to get you some harley beer.....they where closed....I'll keep trying though. BTW, we met in LA for dinner with AaronM

fatal attraction 03-06-2004 01:51 AM

oh, also....baddog, yes I'm in Florida. The owner of the cabbage patch used to be a high school teacher here. till they made him quit. lol

Firehorse 03-06-2004 01:52 AM

As I know you know the scene very well baddog! :thumbsup

The late Grandfather of my first 2 children co-founded the Sydney chapter of the HA, the first in Australia. I had a fight with a very angry and nasty biker in his backyard that had ended many people's lives, fortunately I was too quick for his knife, youth was on my side. My desire to not be stabbed was greater than his to stab me. LOL

I live in a smaller state now and know most of the Presidents altho I have not had any contact with them for a couple of years. One of the main differences Bikers have to non-bikers is they have low impulse control and there stop button doesn't work as well! They also generally have better drugs which can fuel that fire! :2 cents:

then you must have noticed the similarity of the Cabbage Patch logo and the Outlaws patch. I guess I will need to get back to Bike Week so I can pick up another one of those t-shirts

I was thinking about it, and you can probably buy an un-opened can at the Broken Spoke, Boot Hill, Pub 44 or any of the local bars for a $1 or $2 . . . . whereas a Harley shop will probably try to get $25 for it.

Mr. Marks 03-06-2004 03:54 AM

I wouldn't want to meet any of them.

I know a few Pagans on Long Island. Real bad ass mofo's

evildick 03-06-2004 08:36 AM

There's Hell's Angels, and some others (possibly Rock Machine, can't remember) that work at the local Chrysler plant.

The ones I've met have been decent guys.

They don't just go around killing people because you look at them sideways. They are regular people too. They don't want to go to jail anymore than you or I do.

Just because they look scary doesn't mean they are bad people.

ThePornPusher 03-06-2004 08:39 AM

Alot of hells angels around here. My father actually almost got into a fight with one of them after his friend at the bar pointed out the skull he has on my bike. Apprently these guys get pissed if you have the same type of logo on your bike. Well he ended up becoming friends with the guy and he actually gave him a card to call if anyone gave him any bullshit about the logo.

ThePornPusher :thumbsup

Rick Latona 03-06-2004 08:40 AM

You are a tough girl Lori. I'm sure you would have been fine. :)

Back in London ON (1995), the local Outlaws chapter had their
dialup access through me and I maintained a perment virt for
the email and web. They were nice enough to me and paid
their bill like clock work.

Now that I'm in Toronto, I live about 5 - 6 blocks from Angels
club house on Lake Shore. I've been in this house now 3
years and I can't even remember them driving by once. Very
quite and respectful of the neighbourhood. Their lawn is one
of the best kept in the area.

almighty 03-06-2004 09:46 AM

outlaws are not all bad and scary i worked with several oulaws one that worked with me got kille din car wreck they had a huge funeral for him drug hois casket behind a motorcycle (flames painted on casket) had police all over the place they are some wild people but alot of them will go out of their way to help you

Rock Machine? boy, they sound tough :Graucho

I have partied with HA's, Outlaws, and dozens of other clubs, big and small. It is all about respect. There aren't any of them that I feared, but I would not suggest trying to act like a tough guy around any of them. Rat packing is too tough to fend off unless you are Bruce Lee.

haha . . . . don't be so sure of yourself. It does remind me of a story though.

Several years ago, one of my little sisters told me that she was no longer afraid of gangs like the HA. She said that she had read some book, and would simply tell them, "my big brother is a biker."

I suggested that she not rely on that, and go ahead and keep her distance. Never did find out what book that was.

Damn, let me introduce you to the period. It is two keys to the right of the letter "M." It helps let people know when one sentence ends, and the next begins.

It really makes reading what you have to say a lot easier.

There also seems to be a problem with your sig.

Hey baddog, I tried to get you a can of Harley beer last night at pub 44. The girl there said they stopped making them a few years ago. sorry!
